If I was to choose my three favorite people in the Bible (with the exception of yeshua cause he should always be first). But outside Jesus, the three people I would choose to meet would be Elijah and Enoch for the fact that they never died and was allowed to enter heaven without going through death. The third person I'd choose to meet would be Moses because of him being buried by God himself and because God loved Moses so much. At the resurrection we rule with Christ for 1000 years and then the new Jerusalem comes down which is on earth. I have long considered Lot and his presence in Sodom. A few points to add to the narrative presented here: 1) that Lot 'sat at the gate' in Sodom means he was essentially on the town council, so he would have to know the depths of Sodom's "problems". 2) remember the dickering Abraham does with the Lord about finding 10 righteous in Sodom. It says Lot had sons and daughters, so his family would number 6. The daughters were married so add 2. If the sons were also married, that would make 10, the number settled on between Abraham and the Lord to save the city. So, the sons were not married, or at least in the Biblical way. 3) when Lot and family left, his wife would know her sons were left behind, hence the reluctance to go. Her turning around to look back while understandable from the human point of view was against what the Lord instructed. Her looking back was not a casual one but as the video says, holding deep sympathy if for nothing else her sons being left there. I was taught years ago that becoming a pillar of salt was an old way of saying she died of fright. Maybe yes maybe no. As an aside, not touched on in the video was the daughters' decision to become impregnated by their own father, by first getting him drunk eventually produces Moab and Amon, who turned out to be two of the three most bitter enemies Israel ever had. The third being Canaan who also was the product of incest.

Yes - those two sons were priests and should have upheld the standard of holiness that God expected. They were supposed to take the fire from the altar before entering the Most Holy area of the tabernacle. They were drunk and decided to "do it my way" and that showed that they disregarded God's holiness and the need to obey God in every detail.

Given David's track record it seems there always could've been more to it. I mean David did have Bathsheba's husband strategically placed in battle to die. One can only wonder if there was more details to the story of David, Abigail, and Nabal. That's the mystery, what wasn't written, not what was written. It only seems that there could be more to it than what we get. Given the Catholic Church tampers with the Word of God, who knows what is missing from the Bible; we are still finding texts in archaeological sites, many of which the Vatican claim aren't new just not released to the public. Having that said yes there could be more to it, especially when it seems like something is missing.

I think Lots wife looked back in wanting to see God's Vengance on that town. We are to hide our eyes when God passes judgement or we are no better than them. She did not look back in sympathy.

Lot's wife looked back because she desired to stay in that city. The narrative is clear that the angels had to literally drag Lot and his relatives out of the city. It's pretty clear that on some lvl, they all wanted to stay in Sodom, but she was the one who wanted to go back bad enough to look.

If so then we have to say there is no one that's human not discussed with that lifestyle ...and it is accepted fully. I don't think it was excepted but others say it was completely accepted I guess, I have a problem because I do not see how any one can accept such a lifestyle. Lot's wife is the mother of our savior Jesus. She is the constellation Virgo. Virgo has a slight turn of her head, she cannot avoid looking back. Her two daughters, = Virgo at the spring and autumn equinoxes. Virgo (Parthenos) was also the wife of Adam, Noah, Osiris, Moses, and many more.

Of course, incarnations... That would explain alot we do not learn. We are possibly the last generation the last in line. The thing is it's all theorized no one is right no one is wrong. Maybe they will have a chance some of us have been judged but will still be tested. We fit in well cause we were forced to bullied to. When a person lifts a finger to harm it's already too late. They have the mark... God's people are too cold, numb and in horror and do not understand why people must be so hateful and weak to do the right thing towards others. Let God do his work so we can work on ourselves. Those marked by flesh will not do right and there is more of them than us. So... We are bullied to fit in or called strange or weak when we do not.

here we are given the idea of our purpose in our existence. yet many of us still look for more divine reasons why we are here and existed. we work, toil the land, and generate what is more needed to humanity that comfort that we do made, we share and helping each other live in a harmonious way yet we still have families that are lost.and under the challenges of life .nearly everyone has gone through the challenges that each one of us must face, we felt the pain and sacrifice only us knew. often we ask our all Divine Almighty why. as we read about the bible there were times of happy ending and some of not so yet we must realize that being alive has its up and down. so why so proud? yet we need to be aware that we must learn how to manage ourselves as if we do not act properly, we only encourage abuse by tolerating unholy gestures from our community of group or from people. we must learn more everyday and continuesly take that focus on lessons about how to live a blessed life. yet temptations are not away from us. as there are always times that someone will test us as what we are. it is a choice whether we should face and try to maintain that purpose to generate understanding or anger for what is . yet we are being told to give it to the Lord. it is always a fine line betwwen what is right and what is not right.we are under temptation more often yet we find comfort in the truth and power of our Divine.

I listened to the first part of the video until 6:45 and then stopped the video. There are many inconsistencies of what your video speaks and what the Bible actually states. In those inconsistencies the narrative gets twisted. This is a warning to all to not take what is stated by this video or others as the absolute truth but to instead read your Bibles. Just like Book based Movies can never compared to reading the book. For there's tons of events/knowledge that is left out and or changed to fit the narrative of the producers of the movie. The first time it's mentioned in the Bible that Lot has a wife was when he was living in Sodom and Gomorrah. When God told Abraham to leave he told him just to take his wife and move away from his family but since lots father (Abraham's brother) died Abraham took Lot with him to look after him. When Abraham drew the line in the Sand and told Lot choose whatever side Lot chose the best for himself. Which shows the character of Lot. All the wealth that Lot has came for Abraham. When the Angels went to Sodom looking like regular humans Lot saw them at night in the town square he invited them to his house which was the regular custom when you meet strangest passing through. Lot pleaded with them that it was too dangerous to sleep out at the square at night. The local gang went to Lot's house because they heard of two strangers came into town. The gang told Lot to send the two strangers out of the house so that they can rap them. On a personal note: Birds of a feather flock together. Lot was richer then those around him yet he choice to live in that wicked place. When the Angels finally revealed who they were and told him what God was going to do to that place. Lot and his family still wavered on leaving. In so much that the Angels had to teleport them out of the city. The Angels told them where to go and to not look back (let go of all that wickedness). Lot's wife looked back, in her heart she didn't want to let go on that lifestyle.

A misinterpreted conclusion on Lots wifes reason for looking back. A highly doubt she sympathized with the people of Sodom. If you read the entire chapter you will noticed Lot had more than 2 daughters. So Lots wife simply looked back because she knew her other daughters were doomed

Lot's wife couldn't let go of the past life that she had in that City she desired it and she he told he warned them not to look back and her husband wanted her as well but she couldn't let go of that past life that she still wanted the material things the gold or the party and then all of that and to the Lord said if you turn around and look what then when we do not yield when God gives us warnings he gives us warnings we have signals inside of us to tell us when something bad is going to happen but we think that we know better than God so there's a price to pay

Left out are some key details in the story of Lot. When the crowd asked for the two angels, Lot offered up his two daughters to them instead. Also after his wife was turned into a pillar of salt, Lot and his daughters went into a cave where they got him drunk on separate nights and each had sex with Lot to get pregnant.

What about backsliding? And God's mercy? If I am faithful to repent and confess my sins He is faithful to forgive me. Isn't that true? I know repenting means turning from sin and not committing again. However, we are human and the practicality of turning from sin and Not doing anymore sinful things is pretty much nil. Abraham is similar in thought to Moses. Abraham connects to God and through his people he is the new beginning. There are two thoughts. One of God and one of mans thought only. The family splits between the two thoughts. Good and evil from the tree of knowledge. Lots wife does look back. Her focus is on her belongings. She is what she created and manifested in things. To lots wife she is about to be devestated. She is about to loose everything and recieve nothing but poverty. Lot runs for his life and looks to zohar. His focus is on the future. This is also representative of Eves broken mind. Eve accepted the knowledge of good and evil and so her minds thought was split between the two thoughts. We are the lineage of Eves thought. Abrahams wife delivers truth and lots wife is the opposite. Moses is off two halfs in his life. Moses is put into Egypts education system so that he understands both sides of the coin. He runs into the desert and becomes a shepherd like Abraham. He returns to free Isreal, which is true thought, from mans thought. Isreal continually looks back to Egypt with fond memories of its pleasure's. God gets angry and eventually some are allowed to descend away from God. They are swallowed up by the thought they desire and demand. Moss's body stays on the Earth as a memory. He is hidden in plain sight. The body is a collection of memories held in thought energy. As God held out his thought in creation, so Eve did the same. We as individuals within the individual seperated thought system, create thought which passes onto our children. The Earth is mans memory and Heaven is Gods memory from Earth and creation. The good memory. God specifies that we must remember in the sabbath. Moses is the next step up from Abraham. Jesus is again the split thought of man and God. Jesus learns from man and God. God visits Adam and Eves world and their DESCENDING lineage. God comes here in an increasingly more developed way over time. The second comming will therefore be in a more complex way that most will not be able to accept or comprehend. This is because we need to be rescued again from our thought. The seperated thought that traps and enslaves us. We are decieved by thinking we have to work for ourselves rather than God. Selfishness. This is not the devil per say. It is mans self thought from Good and evil that is past and present. Earths memory energy trying to hold onto false thought so that it does not die. Truth will kill it eventually as truth will butt up against falsity. It is possible that mans desire of false thought is so strong that it rejects Gods truth because it means letting go of all the past thought man created and loved. The beasts are our Earthly desires. Past present and future. False spiritual ideas and Earthly Ideas.

I just watched an amazing video interview with a Christian Archeologist about teh discovery of the city of Sodom. The area was at the end and actually north east of the Dead sea. In the article “ Where Is Sodom? ” in the March/April 2013 issue of BAR, archaeologist Steven Collins combines clues from Biblical geography with archaeological evidence from the site of Tall el-Hammam in Jordan to suggest that the author of Genesis 13 located Sodom in a fertile area northeast of the Dead Sea. It is pretty amazing what was found and is a very interesting discovery.
