As someone who has ADHD, this was absolutely amazing. The fact that you acknowledged that in the beginning made me feel so much better compared to other productivity tips videos I have watched. As well as your tips are stuff that actually sound better suited for me than most other productivity tips. Cannot wait for the planner !!!

The aknowledgement 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I massively appreciate what she did. There’s also so much misconception around it, it’s real and we’re not just lazy. I’ve finished a PhD, I’m a lecturer, and I struggle and have struggled since I was a child. I’m so glad she gave it some visibility.

Agreed! I also have ADHD and it was so refreshing to have Grace mention this at the beginning. So many productivity advisers forget that all of us have different ways of thinking and working, it’s not a one size fits all. I will say however, Grace, these tips are amazing! I think they will absolutely work for many ADHDers. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a video that hits home so hard. I’m gutted I missed out on the preorder of the planner! Really hope I can pick one up somehow. I’ll definitely be incorporating these tips in to my day. Thanks so much for the video Grace, as always fantastic advice offered in a clear, to the point, no BS approach- you are brilliant! (Also, please release another journal batch order, I need one in my life 😆)

1. Stop doing to-do lists - split them up into quick ticks, tasks, projects and schedule weekly 2. Write out your 3 negotiables daily 3. Mix in light and deep work into your day 4. Realize how much time it takes you to do specific tasks 5. Figure out how long it takes you to lose concentrations over each sector in tip #1 6. Work alongside yourself not against 7. Make your own deadlines 8. Do your to-do list table at the end of each day

As someone with ADHD, a. Thank you so much for acknowledging us, and b. This is how I personally would adapt this to make it ADHD friendly for ME: Time blocking: I block time as well, but instead of “here is two hours during which I will get this done” I say “for two hours I will set a timer and do this task” - that way if I don’t finish it within two hours (which I probably won’t), I still accomplished my goal of working on it AND I gained a little more insight into how long this type of task might take. I will generally time block my day, work on things in chunks until my timer goes off (1 hour of studying, 1 hour of cleaning, 1 hour of studying, 30 min lunch, 1 hour studying, etc). By the end of the day I am honestly not on schedule anymore, because I allow myself the flexibility to get off schedule within reason. Tasks that are lower priority and/or easier for me to initiate (usually for me this is cooking, cleaning, things that I usually do while putting off desk work), I allow myself to stop midway through when my timer goes off and pick up later. For tasks that are harder to initiate like clerical work, studying, writing, etc., I will try my best to find a good place to leave off AND make a concrete plan of exactly what starting back up again will look like (when I come back to studying, the first thing I will do is watch this lecture video…). Another way I allow myself to get off schedule is if my timer goes off during a less motivating task and I happen to be in the zone, I will quickly check what my next task is and, as long as it’s not a major priority, I will ignore that timer and get as much as I can out of this chunk of motivation. It’s not a perfect solution but when you have ADHD, nothing is!! Of course another great tip for ADHD is using frequent rewards (having that timer go off, whether you’re going to respect it or not, tells you GOOD JOB you met a check point! And that in and of itself can be motivating.)

I loved the video so much!!! Thank you! Also for keeping us adhdlers in mind ❤️ i feel like top 3 Tasks for one day can me overwhelming (at least for me they are) so I do top 3 a week. Another tip I have that might help if you feel really really overwhelmed because you have too many things to do in your head: Write an overwhelm List! I put every task thats crossing my mind and makes me feel overwhelmed on there to clear my head. And having a braindump list for everything that's crossing your mind while you need to do focused work comes in very handy for me, too. I hope those additions help some people ❤️

Grace, you've literally hit the nail on the head on what I'm suffering with when it comes to productivity. Working for myself I find it hard to plan my days, which as you mentioned comes down to planning your weeks / planning what projects / planning what quick tasks go into those projects. You've not only given me clarity, but also motivation that someone as successful as yourself has suffered with procrastination and hates the burn-out culture. Thanks for this video and look forward to hopefully seeing more of your videos based around this topic.

The amount of planners or diaries I have gone through because I inevitably all off the wagon for a period of time, at some point, and seeing all the useless blank, dated pages is really discouraging. As someone with ADHD, I find having seperate lists more overwhelming because I personally like a more linear system. What I do do however is something similar to what you do as a “rough draft” - yes, my planning is that bad that I have to have a rough draft. First I put down things that have times, appointments for example. Then I put down deadline tasks, so assignments, revision etc. then I put down other tasks that aren’t as much of a priority but do need to get done, and then I schedule everything else around that. I manage to go for 16 hours a day and feel like I have a structure. It also allows me to shuffle things around easier, since I can see where I can slot things in, so to speak 😊 love the video

loved your intro! i relate and liked what you said about the self caring bit. (and omg your designs are awesome and this is the first video i watch from you but it feels so you). making doing stuff as simple as possible calms me. i don't think of it as "saving time". "work hard rest hard" that doesn't of course mean you should put everything you got in every work you do, but it emphasizes the importance of resting. song tip when you're doing something: savant - vivii (chill but in the end it matches how my brain feels when i'm doing something (like a project))

Yes yes yesss to all of this!! Literally saving this vid for when I need a boost :) this all totally reminds me of Superhuman meditations that I listen to daily. Not sure if you've heard of the app but they have these incredible activating meditations for anytime and tons of content to specifically tap into your ultimate focused/productive mindset. Has been a major game changer for me and honestly can't help but share because it sooo aligns with your productivity mindset! Cw for next vid xx

This planning method just feels satisfying to go through 😭Thank you so much, I tried it out for a couple days and it works amazingly. The planners all look great! Will you be restocking them anytime soon? I would love to have one myself >.
