I would love to have a SPF foundation. This one, however, will not work. I am very fair skinned and it is offered in 2 shades beige and honey. I can tell that won't work for me. @Lisa MR I use the Dermelect Sleep Serum on an alternating schedule with the Tretinoin. Since the serum has so many acids in it, I would NOT use it the same evening you use a Tretinoin, Retinol or Retinoid treatment.

I wouldn't use it and only buy direct from Dermelect. It's probably not dangerous, just sounds like it's old and oxidized. I've also bought on Amazon and it was clear and good to go. But I prefer buying at Dermelect. I'm hearing lots of people say they got a brown, old, stinky, oxidized serum when they got theirs from.IPSY, BIRCHBOX, EBAY, POSHMARK or ALLURE. I even think it's cheaper directly at Dermelect with my discount code so you'll get the freshest bottle and save money. 🤗

It's funny how I remember trying it years ago and I hated it so either they reformulated it or my skin has changed and now it's the best EVER!!!! Hi Cathy, I don't know why they do that. I usually post once a week on a weekend. I never really have a set schedule. But I fell last month and re-injured my neck so I'm back in the USA now but super busy with Neurology and Physical Therapy and now have to see a Neurosurgeon...I'm fine, not dying or anything but just trying to fix my darn next before we go to Israel and Egypt in a couple weeks. I'm determined to ride a camel. LOL So I am taking a break from filming for a few weeks...I literally can't even do my hair. I may or may not have even brushed it today Haha! But no I haven't tried that from CeraVe since I dont often use Micelar. Very rarely. But I've seen that in the store. I have tried their newer cleansing balm and it's terrible IMO. ELFs cleansing balm is so much better. I'm an oil cleanser makeup remover gal. DHC is my fave then I follow with a regular face cleanserlike CeraVe Foaming Face cleanser. Or I just use Avene cleanser 2x if I want something nice and gentle. Happy Easter to you. 💜

Hi there, it doesn't make hair grow if there is no hair but it will fill in sparse areas where it's kinda like peach fuzz and areas that are thin. It thickened mine up and made the hair grow there...as if it reactivated it where hair kinda stopped growing but it wasn't like completely bald if that makes sense. It also makes the scalp in better condition so the rest of the hair can grow thicker and faster, so where I applied it, all the hair really grew faster and thicker and healthier. I did see results with 1 bottle BUT I continue to use it. I now just use 2 tiny drops (not dropperfuls). But 2 drops on each side of where my hair likes to recede. So 4 drops total about 3 - 4 days a week so 1 bottle lasts me a very very long time. But I hear some people say it took them about 3 bottles before they saw results. Also things like lifestyle, nutrition, supplements etc make a difference. Hope that helps 🤗

That's awesome. I would only use it 2, maybe 3 times max per week. If you decide to use during the day, just don't use other actives like Vit C etc. Just keep the routine simple. Cleanse, serum, moisturizer and spf most important 🤗 But usually best to use in P.M. on non retinol nights. 💜

Just finished the steroid but I think there is still quite a but of inflammation in my neck but I doubt it's anything too serious. Just prob needs to take time to heal. This is not a product I'd use if you have sensitive skin. 😫 you may still be able to use certain acids but I would stick with super gentle acids like pha's, mandelic or lactic. But if you try this, maybe only use once every 10 days (at night only). This could be a little too potent for those with sensitive skin.

I have a lot of faves but right now my top SPF's are Avene SPF Compact, DRMTLGY, SkinMedica Essential Defense (tinted) & Xtetica...oh and of course my Colorescience Brush-On SPF 🤗 But around my eyes I use my Colorescience 3 in 1 Total Eye Spf 35 and I wear polarized sunglasses.

Dermelect isn't necessarily a melasma treatment product. It is an exfoliator but it is completely different than Triluma. But I'd be careful using Triluma unless your Dermatologist prescribed it. Don't get it in Mexico or at an online pharmacy without a prescription or without actually seeing a Dr who actually specializes in melasma as it can cause rebound hyperpigmentaion if not used properly. 🤗

@Rocky Garcia yah you've gotta be very careful with that. Triluma has a steroid in it as well as Hyroquinone. And it isn't meant to be used long term. It can actually make it worse in some people and many Drs don't recommend it, especially in skin of color. My Dr doesn't even want me to use it with my skin tone because of how easily my melasma darkens. Go see a Dr if you can. I don't mess around when it comes to melasma. Be as gentle as possible. Melasma is tricky and it's a brat. And that's a kind word LOL. Make 100% sure you are using sof daily and reapplying and use ingredients like kojic acid, alpha arbutin, l ascorbic, licorice, cyspera....you don't want the melasma to get even darker. No scrubbing and no harsh peels. Only see specialists Run away from people who try to treat it like regular hyperpigmentation. Good luck 🤗

I use it on my eyelids in my skincare routine but now that I'm off the cruise ship and have access to the rest of my skincare again, I'm starting my normal serum that fixes my crepey eyelids and firms up the hooded skin. I didn't realize how much of a difference it made till I stopped using it for so many months 😱
