I need to use those bookend and other fancier dies more often. I did use a couple to cut out sentiments for my sister's card. The BoBunny Harmony Bird/Rose themed paper just seemed to call for those shapes. I have lots of chipboard. I may have to do some scrapbasket smashing.☺️

Very cute card! Great idea for using scraps. One little suggestion...if you wrap the string around the plaid mounting sheet before you put that on the card face, it wont show on the inside which would make the inside a little cleaner looking. But nice card!

You could also try stamping on the printed side of you scrap. It will be instantly be colored. This is called paper piecing & is lots of fun. Of course all printed paper works, but play around. It's my favorite way to stamp. Like a stamped flower from that plaid paper.

A great video and wonderful way to turn your scraps into a beautiful card - Thanks for sharing! I just had an idea .... you could make a card from your scraps, and then make a tag that compliments the card and is just a tad smaller so it fits inside the card for an extra keepsake for your friend, relative, etc. Just a thought - Thank-you again for a very inspiring video!! :o)

Hi I am a newbie, I just stopped by to watch how you put together one of your cards with scraps.. noticed that you used bakers twine across the plaid piece of cardstock & taped the string to back of the card. Did you ever remove the tape from the back of the card. Don't you think ppl would look at the back of the card too?

Hi there. I usually tape it to the back of the panel that I glue to a folded card. That way they don't see the tape. I hope this helps

Why didn't she cover the two pieces of tape on the inside? Seems like a missed step for such a nice card.
