Venetta has been around for a very long time and sung with all the american greats and legends like Ike and Tina Turner as one of their Ikettes, Ray Charles as one of his Raelettes and a couple other small girl female backup singer line ups. And many other legends as a simple back up singer. Also by herself and made a massive name for herself. She sung with many before finding herself in Australia. She had a very hard time in her early days as a singer in some not so nice places and groups. When she found John she found someone who for the first time, ever, had her best interests at heart and who allowed her to be herself and not dance to someone else's tune so to speak. He opened her eyes to a world of kindness and support and she is fiercely loyal to John, just look at how she looks at him when he sings, just like all the other that have sung with him past and up till present. She has said he is the one person, even now in her retirement, that she would drop everything and be there for if he ever asked her to come sing with them for another gig or concert. It actually surprises me when Americans don't recognize one of their own greats.

Great reactions Gracie. Once you discover the Legend that is John Farnham you are hooked completely. Venetta and Lindsay are not married. The are long time backing singerscof John's also good friends. Vendetta has worked with Diana Ross, The Supremes Quicy Jones, Bette Midler,Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond and Ray Charles and many many others. Also in a group called Blackberries. Lindsay Is singer/Musician, Musical director,voice coach and a executive producer and lots of other projects over the years. So two very talented people with John. They all sing with so much passion and emotion and get to you're soul with their beautiful singing and touch you're heart as you have found by listening to this song and any of John's other amazing songs do the same. Look forward to more reactions from you,once you're hooked no going back what journey for you to discover all of John's amazing songs. Live performances are outstanding and the only way to go with John. When you're happy you enjoy the music but when you're sad, you understand the lyrics.
