straight up now, I noticed your family uses a very much Taoist style of a diet. I think that is fantastic! you guys are bringing into the west the lifestyles and diets that the chinese monks have used for a very long. much like the GJJ you guys have blessed to this world, you provide a very balance life style. keep up the good work Rener and Ryron! glad i've joined the Gracie Academy here in Melbourne!

I feel silly asking but. Why can't you mix acid fruits and sweet fruits
@HumanGorillaHormone9 жыл бұрын
+sSPACEBALLSs thats part of the Gracie Diet. Its basically broken into food groups and some foods can only be eaten alone whereas some can only be mixed with others etc to prevent blood acidity and promote better digestion. I really love what the Gracie family has done for mma and for the world...not to mention their mind for business. But theres no science at all behind this diet, im not so sure if any of them follow it other than Rorion the inventor who is super old school like that and doesnt necessarily care if things are scientifically based.

Another tip for cantaloupe is to smell where the stem meets the melon. You can smell the sweetness of the cantaloupe at the stem if it is ripe. If its not ripe, there will be more of a "green" smell.

After trying so many different ways and wasting so much time, I’ve yet to come across a foolproof method to picking fruits... especially watermelons. I’ve come to the conclusion that buying fruit is going to be a gamble no matter what you do, so as long as it’s not a clearly bad piece, I now just take what’s closest to me.

Depends on who is teaching you. GRACIE Jiu-jitsu takes their techniques from self-defense, and real life situation. In brazilian Jiu-Jitsu you will probably learn different sorts of guards like de la riva guard, x guard etc. In gracie jiu-jitsu, they dont teach that cause theses specific movements exposes you and makes susceptible to getting your face smashed in a street fight. Gracie Jiu-Jitsu plays closed and open guard. Thats it. And its like that for alot of things. Different techniques
