The "umbrella" was a dome that would raise and lower. This (and several otber songs in the concert) took place on a second stage. Tbe band would finish a song by walking over to the empty stage and the do.e would lower over them. Then a few minutes later the dome would raise to reveal all the band members sitting or standing at/with their instruments as if they magically appeared. It was a neat effect. Peter Gabriel was welll known for his theatrical use of stage and lighting during comcerts.

This was originally done by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush who has a most unusual singing style but such a delicate one as well and a BIG THANKS FOR THE BIRTHDAY MESSAGE, i`lll wait for the `other ` reaction video,, it`ll be worth it, right,,,off to open presents and stuff. xx
