I'm so glad she saw "Come From Away"! It's set in a town a few hours from me. Such a good story about the people of Newfoundland helping stranded travelers. I remember in 2001 hearing the stories about the town of Gander and surrounding towns pitching in to give these people comfort in a time of great fear. I haven't seen the play but I plan to one day. :)

If you’re still in the area, I highly recommend going to Dominique Ansel Bakery! (ALSO it’s a 10 minute stroll away from the Friends apartment and from another park full of quirky squirrels - Washington Square Park, in case you needed more reasons to downtown for treats 🤗)

After having moved from the Uk to the States 17 years ago, I love seeing your enthusiasm. Now on visits back to the Uk I get equally as excited over shopping in Sainsbury's etc ! lol Also I went to the theatre in NYC a few years back and Tom Hanks and his wife sat behind us. It was so surreal. I managed to get a photo with him afterwards before he got swarmed.

I went on a road trip around America with my aunt about 5 years ago. Although I loved The Met and some of the other museums we went to, overall New York was my least favourite place we visited, but watching this vlog makes me want to give it another go!
