A real used air motor looks nothing like this one, a lot of times the trip rod breaks leaving part of the threads inside the cap nut because of the moisture damage. When this happens you have to buy new trip rod and cap nut. Also the two clips that hold the toggle will break or bend and you have to replace both at the same time also check the spring for damage if they are rusted the best thing to do is to replace both as well, Plan on doing this for at least two hours not as easy as it looks

I did everything per your video(new kits) but when I try to operate it, just does one click which half cycle, took it apart, and redo and reinspect it again same thing, which I do not understand. any idea why is doing that. thanks

Great video, I have being paying to have this done, and out of the two places that did this job, only one place did it right. Well, the place that did it right closed. We found this video and got to work, took about 30 min, and that was because we had to refer back to the video to make sure. I think the next time will take less time. If I had to do another one tomorrow I think, I can knock it down in about 20 minutes. That is if someone else cleans the parts for me as I take them off, and that is because that is the worst part about it. Thanks for the video, saved us a lot of money.

Robert Garcia hi, its best to use air operated washing gun,with just hot water as a degreaser ,or if you have a hot pressure washer ..

Where can I find the tool to remove trip rod, I think it is called a retainer device

It's a coupling nut with a 6 inch bolt on the other end. I think it was a 3/8 16 TPI. You can get them at Home Depot, Lowes or just about any Hardware store.
