We just bought ours today for our 9.5 mth old. It was my husband's choice. I'm watching this video now and I'm happy to see how excited you are about the product. Thank you for sharing your opinions. Our state is now requiring rear facing until 2 so, this seat seems like the perfect choice and will definitely grow with her needs. Thanks again. I appreciated this video. PS. I love the feet extender feature....hopefully that helps keep my actual vehicle seats cleaner.

Were you able to fit 2 extend to fit car seats rear facing side by side in your minivan?

Monica O'Keefe yes. We only have the one, but it is much narrower than the other seat we have next to it RF. My twins are now both over 32" and 2 yo and still rear facing. we do have a bench seat instead of two captain chairs in the middle row

Hi, Is this carseat possible to recline 'during' travel? once its fixed in the car, child fall a sleep for exaple during long drive, can I recine it without taking it out? Thank you for your answer

Michaela Smidkova I am not sure if you can recline without removing but I wouldn't suggest reclining while driving. the seat can be reclined more to begin with (if it is reclined per the guidelines of the seat) and then there would be no need to recline mid-trip. Hope that helps.

Yes, they have a particular angle rang for newborns so that they are positioned correctly. The car seat itself can be used for babies as little as 4lbs. It's a great seat you just wont have the convenience of being able to take it out and carry it around like you would with a bucket seat

I purchased extended2fit, own a sedan, and I dont recommend this carseat unless you own a van.

jadoresophya Did you purchase the 3-in-1 or the convertible? the 3-in-1 has several reclining options and sits upright more than our other convertible ones and fits better in our Sedan (Subaru Imprezza) but I do not know about the convertible. I don't think we could extend the bottom more than the first click though.

Just bought it today and already disliking it. It looks cool and compact but poorly designed. We always use Chicco and we love chicco. I wanted to try graco for the first time and I regretted it. The headrest area which is attached to the top portion that can be extended isn't straight/flat and it made my child's head continuously being pushed to the front. Sure, short distance from home to the baby sitter or to the grocery wouldn't affect much but for a road trip will def give my baby a neck pain. Will return it tomorrow and will stick with chicco.

Jetski Fisherman so sorry you didn't like it. Ours doesn't push our twins' heads forward. I would check at the store and make sure it wasn't something wrong with the one you recieved. Not sure if a different recline angle would have worked better for you either?

We have had this seat for about a month and just took our first road trip this weekend. We had the exact same problem. All of the head and neck padding pushed baby's head forward and after about two hours she would be in pain and couldn't straighten her neck out when we got her out. It was pitiful. We have three of these seats now and no longer have the boxes so I don't think we could exchange. Very disappointed. For driving around town it wasn't an issue, but for road trips it was horrible. Jetski, what did you find that worked better?

WOW, and Graco says it's no issue because head slump doesn't matter and it's perfectly fine because they will be safe in an accident. Grace doesn't care because most people won't put 2 and 2 together. Maybe if your child's head is flat and in line with their back it may be ok. Grace has to do something.

@@sherylmcguire1790 head slump is not an issue as long as baby has head/neck control. Their bones are not like our adult bones they're way more flexible. Also with this seat if the headrest dips just below the shoulders it doesn't push the head forward.

@@maevamos1953 It absolutely does cause discomfort though as per the comment above. When my grandson would fall asleep his head slumped. This did not happen with the Britax purchased for my vehicle. We alleviated the Graco seat problem by putting 1" car seat foam behind the BODY area on the car seat as that's where the problem lies. That kept the head in line and he would fall asleep with head resting well.
