Awesome review Question Does this sprayer make you save amount of paint you must buy for a long project … say a whole house (interior) ? Vs roller/brush I mean, i i only must spray once it tells me i will save tons of paint .. but if i mist spray two times .. will i still save paint ? Or have to buy less ? Trying to see because saving paint translates in saving money .. 1 gallon of premium pain is 100$ where i live .. So that sprayer might be paying by itself

What tip did you use on the cabinet, and was it cabinet paint or latex? Also did you have the pressure all the way up? My spray patern is awful 😖, sprays too much on the edges and there is a slight gap in paint along the paint path where it applies too heavily.

Great video, very informative. I try to avoid painting brick, it turns a virtually maintenance free siding into an ongoing upkeep project. I’ve noticed that if the paint on the mortar joints begins to peel, it can trap moisture and accelerate deteriorations, especially in freezing temps.

Thanks for an informative video about the machine. The first three videos that I "tried" to watch about this Graco sprayer........I never saw over three minutes of.....due to them going on about other BS that nobody gives a rats a** about. Nice video and to the point. Not paid by the company, so you can inform without bias. If its trash, you can say its trash.... I have been doing finish carpentry, custom cabinets/furniture, composite decks, and remodeling for over 35 yrs. Its a waste of my time to be told what happened before the product is unboxed and what led up to someone deciding to purchase a paint sprayer to begin with.......etc......... Thanks again for an informative video, and as Sam Walker mentioned in his comment, the hose is stiff because it has to handle 3000 psi.

Nice job on demo. I Always buy a swivel base on gun. It's so much easier. Big box store $150. You can buy a whip also you help with stiff hose. Well done. Helping me make better process decisions. 😊

Thanks for the video! Just bought an old house with a stucco finish, so I opted to spray it instead of roller for better coverage. Bought this little guy, was confused at the directions and your video made everything straight forward. Going to hit it with a second coat in about an hour, working like a champ! Mine didn't come with the pump armor fluid so I'll definitely have to pick some of that up. Thanks again!

Great vid! Just got this today and was a bit intimidated by the instructions mentioning mineral spirits and whatnot. For doing standard exterior hardie plank siding, what pressure do you recommend? When would you use pressure at full versus lowering it down?

I enjoyed watching this video. Very detailed on how to use and clean up. My husband has the same machine, but it suddenly stopped working by not sucking the water out of the bucket when it was time to clean it... if there is a blockage, how do you suggest cleaning it? Or do you have a video on how to clean this particular machine if it seemed to be blocked? Awaiting your response. Thank you

I bought this sprayer used. Previous owner painted with oil-based paint and did not clean it very well. What do you recommend? It's not clogged but in examining the sprayer I do see parts where oil paint has dried. The filter seems fairly clean. He claimed to have run paint thinner through it. But if I wanted to soak the sprayer parts, how much should I take it apart, and what do you recommend soaking it in to dissolve the oil paint? I plan on starting with Latex paint to paint some doors, but I don't want to add to the problem until I get the sprayer thoroughly cleaned. Thanks!

FYI... Graco makes a swivel for the gun, you can get it at most home centers for about $30

Yep! I think they call it a "swivel joint". It's a must-have accessory bc it greatly reduces hand fatigue when whipping the gun around with a rigid hose on it.

My biggest concern is overspray. I used a bug sprayer once to stain my fence the overspray was everywhere, I had some pissed neighbors.

Thanks for the video, I'm spraying my kitchen cabinets shortly, I watched the graco video it says to use the 311 spray tip, so I bought it but the package on the 311 says for stain and sealer not for interior/primer which is exactly what I'm using! Do you think I should return it for a different tip?

I’ve learned the rigidity is a good thing. Makes sure there are no kinks when running paint.

I’d definitely go with a next level machine like this. A smaller machine would struggle with that quantity.

When you use a sprayer for a while you'll learn some simple tricks. Like you learn how much paint is in the hose. Then when you're almost finished you remove the paint can and finish the last little bit of the job with the paint in the hose. It'll take you a time or two to figure how much coverage you'll get once you remove the paint can. Once you do that you'll never lose any paint. Hope that helps

Hose is stiff because of the PRESSURE it has to handle, not because of the viscosity. Otherwise, good video. Quick and informative. BTW, have you tried a 313 or 413 tip for furniture or cabinets yet? The smaller orifice causes fine atomization of the paint. Curious if there's a noticeable difference. Painting my exterior right now, but looking at painting some shop cabinets. Was wondering if you'd tried the smaller tip because of that.

They’re plastic so if your going over rough terrain it can be bumpy (which isn’t great if you’ve got a bucket hanging) but they’re not cheap by any means.

Even though I have not painted professionally for many years I have to say your so called technique is less than desirable on the wall and cabinet both. Sorry but I would not want you painting my stuff. Orange peel and never start spraying from the center of the cabinet should do clean full passes and the wall you missed strips on it.
