Got mine today super impressed with the quality can't wait to use it Update: jacking with the lid is a pain in the ass, it’s no faster than a regular hopper, I do like for a patch gun though can lay it down and not spill don’t have to wash it out for a couple of days if I want

Where I live, smooth walls are preferred, but a really coarse knockdown is super popular on ceilings. Can this unit handle a heavier mud? The spatters we need are usually about 1/2" to 3/4" wide and made with really low air pressure. Right now, most small time general contractors just use gravity fed hoppers that take a bit of time, so I'm hoping a unit like this can produce a thick knockdown. Anyone have any experience with this?

How do you remove the retainer rings to remove the trigger to access the needle of the gun? They are small horse shoe-shaped washer like pieces that keep the pin in that attaches the trigger(2 of them). If my explanation doesn't quite make sense lmk. I need to replace the needle. TIA

Can you use a normal air compressor with this gun?

I have this hopper and i really like it but is only good for patch work or small projects like bathrooms or any small rooms otherwise you have keep filling it up because is too small. But is great for matching texture

I agree. Hopper is small but packs a punch

I don't even think the Graco rep could hold this hopper up to spray a ceiling.

Hey Graco Team I will be doing my own video soon but I had a couple suggestions for your future videos. 1. Put some dye in the mud so we can see the spray 2. Noone in their right mijnd ever textures that nasty comglomerate you put on the wall..Show us a fine light orange peel not a nasty splatter that I could hide my baseball cap under. I work in million dollar homes every day and if my texture looked like that I would not be inbusiness. You are not showing the real potential and giving us PROs a reason to switch from a $79 hopper that we have perfected. I will show you a proper video soon

If you use a hopper to texture a entire house you ain’t a pro.

Hey man do you have any vids yet? I’m thinking about this unit as long as I can spray a very fine texture.... thinned down and a smaller tip it should do well
