Adding a PVC pipe and back pack to maximise potential for the Graco Ultra Quickshot !

Yeh thx , it’s just a piece of plumbing PVC pipe with screw top , I drilled a hole for a breather

Nice! I want to put together a larger paint cup...where can I find a threaded PVC container like that?...And, I'm curious what is on the bottom of it?

You can locate the threaded end PvC at bunnings plumbing section and I just used a grey duc tape around it to make the seal. Cause the system is gravity fed it won’t leak but keeps it in place. @adammyers1759

Just get a gx19. Speaking from experience with Graco handhelds that little sprayer isn't designed to be used daily for medium or high volume work.

Hey Micheal , yeh the quickshot is so much more than the GX19, it’s unique in its portability and whip hose. It just lacked a bit larger cup capacity to take it to the next level. we now use it on roofs etc. with the backpack where you just can’t do with other machines. We use it daily and it handles everything and is not used flat out like a normal spray gun, i like to say we use it for "brush assisted spraying “ you should get one and add this cup extension to it !!

So I just get paint put into a gallon plastic container you can buy at Home Depot and I pour my 5 gallon or 1 gallon in there about a half gallon into a 1 gallon container and then I transfer it into my quick shot Court and I don't put the cap on it and I hold it in my left hand and I put the hose around my neck so it makes it shorter and I just fill it up more often and it seems to work but what did you use that you screwed on there to make it bigger

it’s a piece of pvc pipe for plumbing, with the treaded end for the cap , just drill a breather hole in the top.

I went to Home Depot and I have an extra cup for the machine I bought online I brought the cup with me and I found a pipe coupling I think it was 3 in or 4-in and it fit on the top of the cup perfectly it didn't go on the threads but it went down enough to where it stayed and then I got some PVC cement and put it on it and pushed it on now it enables me to put in a lot more paint when I spray I don't put the cap on it because I like to see how much paint I have in there and this will enable me to put more paint in it. This is a really good hack

I bought an extra container online when I got the container I went to Home Depot and saw what I could find that would fit inside the container or what the container would fit inside the coupling what that got into fit a coupling a use of PVC glue it just put some glue on the edge and now it stays in

this little sprayer is the best invention Greco ever made. I also added a 6-in extension to the gun and bought a Greco stop shot for it so after I stop hating no paint spurts out of it anymore.

Yep….. I don’t know about the whole cup in a cup deal…. But I figure in the future they might release a larger cup or maybe someone will 3D print a larger cup.….. bc the cup is removable there are possible variations. Btw…. Does anyone know if this quickshot gun can use spray extensions???

i Wouldn’t think so, as its gravity pulling the paint down. But It needs something around the bottom of the PVC pipe just to hold it in place. i just used some duct tape , easy.

The pipe is 100 mm , you need the threaded one that takes the screw on cap !👍
