I'm obviously not going to base my decision completely on your opinion, but it is disappointing to hear 😕 I graduated with my BSW last year and have not found a job yet. I even went to a job interview that would have meant that I had to move, had I got the job. I now am seriously considering going on to get ny MSW. I haven't done much research, but I am definitely interested in fully online programs. I find that I thrive more on my own, not that human interaction isn't necessary sometimes. I am trying to find a program where I could focus on mental health and disability. I have a physical disability and my internship was done at a place working with all disabled clients and a lot of disabled staff. I am also very interested in seeing if there are any programs that would allow me to learn more ASL and deaf culture so I can work in that area as well. I don't know. I'm honestly feeling lost and unsure of what my next steps should be. I know that a BSW doesn't seem to be the ticket for a job I qualify for and can do physically. Several jobs I have found would require me to do home visits. I can't do that. I'm so sorry your experience wasn't what you wanted. Honestly, my BSW experience was not great overall either. Congrats on graduating in a few weeks!! 🙌👩‍🎓
