Mam good evening you lost me by the part when you said H2O is a covalent bonding, but Hydrogen and Oxyen are both diatomic elements so how would Hydrogen be on the left hand side(metals) if it's a diatomic element or is is because it has 1 proton and the periodic table is located by increasing atomic numbers?

She's simply saying that metals are on the left with the exception of hydrogen so its just something you must note
