After 30k views, one person has picked up an error at about 22:30. I separated the two transformations instead of doing them together. So the transformation is actually reflection in the y axis and 3 units down not 1. Because first you would have to multiply the whole graph through by -1 which I didn't do. The principles are correct as separate ideas but I didn't put them together correctly. Thank you Monique ❤️

Hi there You sub in the chosen x values into the formula, which in this case means taking 6 and dividing by the x values, then adding 2, to get y. Make sense?

Just to use x and y values that divide into your a value so you don't end up with fractions that you then have to plot. You then use the hyperbola formula and sub in and make your table from there.

Uhm instead of drawing the strategic table method my teacher taught us to make x =1 and find points And make x = -1 for the other point and then plot

That will work for some functions, but not by grade 11, so do your teacher's method for now and then stay open to needing other methods as you grow.
