Mr Salles, I achieved 81% a grade 7 english literature in mocks, but I want to aim higher. My question is, what seperates a grade 9 essay from a grade 7 essay? Also, I want to say, thank you so much for helping me increase my grades from grade 4 to grade 7 so far.

How many quotes do I need to revise for Romeo and Juliet and for what character

I would suggest memorising at least 10 quotes but no more than 15. Make sure they are quotes that can be applied to multiple themes in the play. Also, this means your AO2 analysis will likely be stronger and more in-depth because you know what you need to say about each quote.

Write down 6-8 moments in the play or book which are significant to the question. Quick bullet points. Number them in chronological order. Write about them - whatever comes out of your pen. Cross nothing out. Reread it and make it better only when you have finished.
