What pisses me off even more is that the reaction channels that actually "react" get a lot of hate. In the comments, there are people like "stop talking!" And "stop pausing!". It's so stupid

AlxDTV in order for that to happen, the person who owns the content would have to file a copyright infringement. I imagine most of the people jinx takes from are not bothered enough or do not hear about the video to actually do anything about it. Minus GradeAUnderA whom after filing a copyright claim with jinx found that jinx had taken down the for “less than credible reasons” likely because Grade A was now receiving a substantial cut of monetized ad revenue from that video.

BlastphamousHD had to deal with that and his main channel and other videos deleted. He still does his videos (the reactions include videos paused several times due to laughter or talking, jokes that he says he'll edit out and never does, some videos including jokes against himself, occasionally playing the video again or not showing a video in its entirety), but he still adds his own charisma and personality into the video as oppose to some other reactors.

Dude, this is like a time capsule for me. I remember when the reaction thing was this huge bandwagon of copy-cats basically doing a less effort version of the fine bros and similar channels. Now Jinx has pretty much disappeared I believe (or at least disappeared from the spotlight of attention). In my opinion, I think a combination of bad press and people getting sick of it led to the the eventual downfall of these channels and Jinx. The Fine Bros and similar channels are still around but I don;t think they are as popular as they were before. It was just overload, at least for me and the videos were just terrible and poor quality for the copy-cats. I truly didn't even understand who the audience for those videos and Jinx were, kids maybe?

The "reacting to things" isn't really the issue, it's more the having unedited-uninterrupted videos belonging to other people in your videos, without permission. And Pewdiepie's videos actually add value to the people who created the games he is seen playing, so his videos actually are promotion. I genuinely watched a few of his G-Mod Prop Hunt videos and that was my first introduction to Prop Hunt, and as a direct result of Pewdiepie's videos, I bought G-Mod on Steam. It looked so fun. I genuinely don't see why Pewdiepie gets such a bad rap (wrap? I don't know how that's spelt). I saw a video where some random girls harassed him to look at some pictures they drew for him and be in their video etc and I've never seen anyone nicer than him towards fans. He is the biggest star on one of the world's most popular websites, he has money bursting out of his pockets and he's still humble-af. He could be inside his mansion snorting cocaine of hooker' bodies through the rolled up Magna Carta he bought with his KZbin cash, but instead he still takes the time to be cool to fans and he appreciates them. People might not like his videos, but I don't see how anyone can knock him as a person.

Something I hate about youtube channels and its popularity is that you have to post new videos like every day to be one of the biggest. If you post once a week you can still get a decent amount. I have been subscribed to some people on youtube for like 6 years and if they miss even one day they get so much shit about it in the comments. What irritates me even more however is that because people only watch the newer videos made by youtubers and don't care about the older ones, you have youtubers with hundreds if not thousands of videos uploaded to their channel, and some times even elsewhere, and you will get people asking them to do a video on a certain topic (for me I usually find ones that are asking the youtuber to play a certain video game) and it is like "Dumb ass. If you bothered to take the time to type that game name into search with the youtubers name next to it, you would find they already played it like a year ago.
