I want vgas grading scale with watas numerical box / alphabet seal splits. So in reality something like an 8.5 B would be near mint and we'd have a much wider assessment curve. Too many 9s and As.

Yo Greg me again. 😅 If my sealed game has a very very very tiny rip of the seal ..what grade you think it's get able? Also if seal has a scuff etc on it.. do they clean it? Or they leave it!!

A very tiny rip will generally mean A+ unless you also have scuffing throughout, in which case it might fall to A. It's generally pretty hard to get 85+ with a small rip but you can if you rest of the wrap is super clean/clean box. Scuffs/scratches can't be cleaned off unless it's actual dirt or something on the seal! And it'll only be cleaned if you pay them to do so!

@@GetTheGreg one more thing. My PS1 tony hawk 2 game has a price tag sticker on it. The orange little one that breaks off removed I believe Should I pay the extra 40$ to remove it or leave it on?

@@Arty-69 remove it for sure but you might even be able to do that yourself. Those stickers are pretty easy to peel even without the use of chemical. If you want to do it really clean, you can use something like Goo Gone or lighter fluid

What would you guys say is the value of a VGA 100 rated Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game (german version)? I do have a hard time to evaluate this value as there are no statistics about sold 100 VGA Pokemon games (any versions). Thanks in advance!

It's really hard to say what it might actually sell for, but it's multiple thousands for sure. Just not sure if it's 3, 5, or 10 haha

Crossovers seem risky. I would think cracking and resubmitting raw might be better than chancing a grader wanting to be tougher than the competition. At least for non cardboard.

its hard not to care about the number for cgc/wata since its more noticeable than the seal grade. im looking at a 9.4 A+ NFS DS game and I do honestly think I would take a 9.8 A over it, unlike in your ranking. Only problem is that I don't know how many NFS copies of this game are out there so I'll probably have to bite the bullet. (also why do some DS NFS games come in the case? that never really made sense to me lol)

i meant 'more noticeable' in the sense that the number on the case is just a lot larger than the seal grade its tiny in comparision when you are displaying the case. I wasn't saying seals dont matter if thats what you thought I meant by that

@@DjbossNA oh no, for sure. I get what you mean completely. WATA and CGC both intentionally minimized the overall importance of the seal grade. I was just curious because sometimes an "A" seal can be so bad that you really have to see it for your own submissions haha. And the difference between 9.6/9.8 is... Very minimal when we talk about these hardcases. I don't disagree with your overall sentiment, though!

my switch 95/95+s must be major stonks then lets gooooo 📈 9.8 A is a great grade i'd take it over the 9.6 A+ every time 😎 it's actually far rarer with wata being stingy on the 9.8s now 🤣
