These are amazing recaps, I love the focus on a sub-story from the game rather than just re-capping. Keep it up!

I appreciate the uncomplicated optimism of these videos. It's going to be a long season, especially as guys recover from injury, so small wins like this are genuinely what will sustain interest throughout the season. It's been a while since the Raptors had a bunch of young players developing at once. It'll be full of growing pains, but I like/respect the process.

During the 76'ers game, I was thinking that if Nick was still our coach, 5 of our players would log 40+ minutes and most of our team would never be in the rotation, props to Darko for the trust in the development process

Having a respected 3-point shooter on the team is GOLD. Whether Dick starts or come off the bench as the 6th man when the other 2 starters come back from injuries, his ability to spread the defense will open up a lot of offensive opportunities for the rest of the 4 guys.

A major problem for this young Raptors team is too many turnovers. Hope it will get improved during this season.

For sure, an expected outcome as this young team adapts to the nba, 81 games to improve!

After witnessing in person Victor's 10-block game against the Raps last year, I was distraught. Teams have to come up with a way of attacking these freakishly big and long French guys around the basket. The high arc that Gradey is putting on his midrangers obviously points the way forward.

Gradey has the most potential on the entire team... Fun to watch

I can't see him getting to an All defence level with 3.5 atocks a game, 10 rebounds and 8 assists with 22 to 24 points. More ways to be a good player other than making buckets..

A young leader with 4 of top guys down with all the focus on him to orchestrate a lot of the game made some turnovers in the first few games against 3 of the best defensive teams in basketball. I think Gradey's defense makes his ideal role as a super-sub (also how Tyler Herro and Austin Reaves would ideally be playing) with Ochai starting until Ja'Kobe takes it from him, if he can. But since he's clearly the player with the higher upside I can see the argument for continuing to start him when RJ comes back.
@vintagepimpage60493 күн бұрын
Gradey is not a career sub... He is the best player on the team potential wise... He needs starting roles and a ton of shots
@raptorsrepublic3 күн бұрын
Actually think Gradey will eventually be a plus defender.
@DanGolag3 күн бұрын
@@raptorsrepublic He doesn't have the mobility to be a plus defender, and it's not something you gain with experience.

@@DanGolagI actually disagree on this! Think his combination of length and size actually makes it easier to get to plus off-ball and at least neutral on-ball.
@DanGolag3 күн бұрын
@@raptorsrepublic I agree that he will be a plus off-ball presence, I'll be very surprised if he's ever a neutral on-ball defender. But that would make him an excellent starter, for sure.
