A great book to learn more about the 1921 and the rest of the Peace Dollar set is "A Guide Book of Peace Dollars." I feel so much more knowledgeable when chatting with dealers and collectors at coin shows.

You are so smart, it amazes me the detailed information you know on coins! I like the peace dollar a lot and I have a couple that I got from you. I am still stuck on the 90% silver quarters and dimes, and roll hunting on my own for silver or anything that’s collectible. There’s so much to learn But I love it! Last coin is a vam 1h struck with satin proof dies. I have an obsession with looking for matte and satin proof struck 1921s peace dollars. So far I have 3 in my collection.

@@CoinHELPu I prefer MS, but I know that those get expensive at that grade. I don't mind toning just as longs as it's not that black toning that looks like it has dirt on it.

It was the classical Roman "U" which is a "V". Very good video, ya know your stuff. Tell the story how fast they where made

@@CoinHELPu Anthony De'Francisci was an Italian immigrant. Most Italian and Roman art have "U" spelled as a "V." The "V" is a nod to Italian/Roman art as well as for Victory.

do you have a showe on rotated reverse ive beencollecting coins for the last 2 years now it took me about ayear to figure out machine doubling mint dubing ive got alot of good MD i do a lot of coin roll hunting an ive got some really nice erros but i just dont get the rotated ones please and thank you

I have a 1922 in great condition but some thing different about her bottom lip it looks big but looks like a mint crack around it! Makes it look like a duck lip. Is it a mint error?

On the reverse side the Spear is past the end part on a high relief the spear is not pass the end because it’s shorter

Weigh them and carefully do a specific gravity test. Instructions for SG test can be found online.

The "V" in TRVST on a Peace dollar is the way it is in Latin. The Romans had no "U" . Yhe "V" made the sound a "U" makes.
