As I said in another comment he couldn't have picked a worse shirt to compare it to in terms of differences and just called it the same, and didn't even point out any of the good or bad bits apart from 'it has tight cuffs'. Genuinely just a complete lack of interest.

My thoughts as a Newcastle fan. The design of last season’s shirt was better than this season’s (an A as opposed to a B+) but I still like the new one a lot and in terms of the quality and fit, it’s much better. Nike did the Crest in the middle of their club and international kits during 2004-2006 seasons by using the same template but with a few little tweaks Umbro did it in 1996-1998 and another and addidas have also done it in 1993-1995 i vividly remember the liverpool shirt from then It's not a new or shocking thing to have the Crest in the middle of a shirt

I hate when how teams have had their shirts leaked so early, even worse when they start wearing it in the previous season. That literally makes no sense. That should genuinely be against the rules to wear another kit within the same season. Also I think that keeping kits FULLY hidden until the first game of each team’s season would be a very fun experience. All the fans of their respective teams waiting to see their team’s new kit unveiled right there on the pitch as the players remove their jackets. Would be something new and a unique feeling to see this mandated across most top leagues at least
