What concerned me the most about the game was 1) too many penalties killing drives and 2) playing soft defense with the lead in the fourth quarter. How hard would it be to put a man on Lamb and go with a zone. Also blitz Dak to keep him honest.

You are also missing too conservative in offense play calling. No lead is safe keep the pedal to the medal one time taking pressure off d.

Sometimes I think Brock’s gets “paralysis by analysis” over thinking the game. Exactly what happened to him in the KC game. He needs to relax a bit and just play football, stop overthinking.

Nah the problem is he be trusting Kyled calling plays to much until he says forget that I'm going to make plays myself that's when we see an elite quarterback

With CMC we’re 6-2 easily. If he comes back and is actually healthy we will contend.

CMC is huge, but honestly if the defense was playing like they are now we’d be 6-2 anyway with no changes. It’s crazy how slim the difference is between a good season and 4-4. Call us a 6-2 team in hiding

No one was thrilled with Aiyuk’s performance, but people who throw him under the bus need to realize that he’s still a great route runner and with around 400 yards by week 7 he was on pace to get another 1,000. Let’s hope he heals strong and we’ll be glad to have him next year

Dallas Defense was pressuring constantly, I know punni is amazing but the line feels like it’s worse, Trent looks like he’s gotten back in shape, but Right Tackle and center seem to be worse this year.

It’s easy to think of missing CMC in the run game, it’s clear to anyone he’s missed in the pass game if for nothing else what he opens up for other players. Where I really miss him and I’m sure Purdy does too is in pass protection. He is in a different class when it comes to blocking than what we have on the team. Mitchell is good, Mason is just Ok, Guerrendo is a liability in pass protection.

Purdy is definitely not perfect, still learning and will continue to mature... if he gets the W that is all that matters. Tampa is in shambles and niners should win that game.

Actually, I think a lot of it has to do with so many receivers. He was used to Aiyuk and Deebo. We all saw Kittle with over a hundred yards. This year he has been adjusting to Jennings, Conley, Bell, Pearsall, Cowings, Mason and even Guerendo. Take CMC. Purdy was dialed in with him. Now he has to adjust to Guerendo who might be a yard or two different from CMC on a screen.

​@@greglyon1402 I agree, plus the run game wasn't working because Kyle only uses one running back and you could see Mason tired and hurt but they kept running him for like a yard then forced to pass.

@@mikehenkelman2111 gurrendo wasn’t told not to score. He chose to slide himself. If you recall, 2 weeks ago, gurrendo could have scored another touchdown on a 70 yard run, but also chose to slide down at the 1 yard line again. The coaches are not telling him to do this he is choosing to do it. The coaches should tell him to score next time!
