In terms of lore and character he doesn’t belong there. Trickster kills people and mixes their screams into his music, whilst Skull Merchant uses her victims bones in engineering. Wesker doesn’t really kill people for the sake of it, only if they’re in his way or if it’s necessary, or they’re incompatible with Ouroboros which would be indirectly killing them.

I am glad that my favourite killer, the Plague, still holds a status of having a unique design that stands out so much not just in DBD but in other games as well. Even in Horror movies! The duality within her appearance and power, death and life, desease and cure, decay and beauty, makes an awesome concept for a very versatile Killer. Behavior really made an icon that is dear to my heart.

Alert is one of the most underrated perks in the game. The only thing it doesn't work against is stealth killers, and even then you know that they performed an action. Overall, its a great ranking/grading!

I would argue that feng min has probably some of the best perks for beginners. Lithe is an overall good exhaustion perk, alert is a good aura perk, and technician is good for those who arent good at skill checks yet

Descend Beyond was the first ever chapter i bought and Felix is still one of my two mains to this day! i agree that his lore definitely needs to be reworked a bit. i enjoy his connection with the entity, but i think the best way to do it is to expand on that a bit. but his cosmetics also give a surprising amount of lore for his personal life! for example, he had a cosmetic in a rift a while back that was a skiing outfit that revealed he didnt grow up with his mother, or his green cosmetics revealing that he drove a motorcycle! i like that u mentioned visionary because, when i was just a baby survivor, visionary was the only way i could find generators and i carried it for a long time. i will still bring it out when we get new maps so i can try to memorize at least a few of the generator spawns!

The Worst Maps designwise are Decimated Borgo and Backwater Swamp in my opinion, I really miss Hawkins Laboratory map design, it felt so different from the others, with only Lery's Memorial Institute being close to that unique and specific map, I think we need more diverse maps like these that I mentioned, We need more diversity in the category of maps, because DBD have many more maps which in my opinion are pretty much the same, and indoor maps are very unique and authentic, because the scare factor it's much more unpredictable and impactful in these indoor maps environments If you ask me.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Skull merchant is kinda cute though every other killer has all these powers and stuff and she just puts on a beedalzed mask and a blade arm thingy and calls it a day it’s like she’s playing like a kid or somthing the entity is her farther/mother and it’s bring ur daughter to work day I find it adorable and weirdly enough I find it unique in a way and her nearly every fanart of her (the actual design not fan made design) makes her seem super cute in a way I love her and the DBD community will never change that

Not me skipping to tools of torment to see you dunk on it 😂 it also killed a lot of my hype for the game too so I can relate. I’m a massive resident evil fan so obviously I adored both of those chapters, especially project W since Wesker is my main killer and Rebecca is my main survivor! But I also loved Silent Hill, Cursed Legacy, Descend Beyond (mainly because it added blight who is my most played haha), Stranger Things and Sadako Rising. Would say Roots of Dread but that chapter came with Garden of Joy so nope. Lol.

Just a couple of notes. All Kill, we should have gotten a neon Seoul city map, though that doesn’t fit in DBD, that’s why it work. I do like that Tricksters design was co-designed by a K-Pop idol, like if you are gonna do a Kpop character, have influence from people in that industry. And the lastly for the Elodie/Felix lore. I don’t mind there lore, I think it shows how regular people have an awareness and knowledge of the entity’s existence before they are captured. (Same can be said for Haddie). And I like how Elodie has been teased since Tome 1, so she was hyped up for awhile. I think one of the issues for Portrait is the fact that people believe that Artist and Jonah’s roles should be reversed. Like Artist was a girl who had a horrible life and tried to k*ll herself but was saved by crows, and then Jonah is basically a war criminal. Like that doesn’t sit right with me. Other than that: love the video ❤

My only points I would add in are that on Feng her Technician perk is extremely good for newer players still getting a hang of skill checks and the gen mechanics. And I probably would have taken points off of Oni's chapter considering all of his perks are pretty underwhelming except in pretty niche situations.

I know BHVR said they’re going to rework backwater swamp, and they said one of the things they’re changing is “unnecessary elevation, specifically around the maps edges” which sucks in my opinion. The different heights and elevations are one of the very few highlights of backwater for me.

I quietly left the game when Skull Merchant came out. I became tired of matches being so long with the Knight that I began playing a lot less during his chapter. Another gen defense killer made me dislike loading into matches at all. I started groaning as we loaded in instead of planning the match out. So I left. Still like watching content over it, but I haven't played in months. What's sad is that once I left, I didn't miss playing it even though I previously played it daily for years.

I just want to point out, for everyone who doesn't know, spirit has directional audio now so it isn't just a 50/50 at all. HOWEVER, no one is making a big enough of a stir for the devs to remove charge speed, movement speed, and duration add-ons as an add-on type to her. With these add-ons, you can't just listen for her as you don't have enough time to react. Basically, actually a fun killer to go against once you are used to using your ears like radar the same as she has to herself until mother-daughter ring or one of her yellow movespeed/charge speed add-ons breaks her into a annoying mess.

I will start this off by saying, I absolutely HATE Skull Merchant, however, one positive from her chapter that I didn't hear you mention is that there is a new mechanic added to the game with the puzzles to deactivate her drones. That is a pretty cool feature. It would make way more sense to have it as the way to solve the lament configuration though.

This feels old? But with Vittorio, he is designed like that because he wears the clothes of the dead survivors before him. If you notice a lot of his clothes don't really fit him, which is why his gamepass is medieval so that it shows maybe what he might of worn back then. In defense of all kill and letting every drag jonah thru the mud like he deservedly deserves so. i think you can have morally grey characters and still have a great and beloved character, yun jin is a great example of this, for as much of a star the trickster is, all kill really is just as much yun jin's chapter as it is jiwoon's. she's not comic book super villain or soap opera evil, but she's selfish and morally questionable not only for her profession and the exploitative nature of that but also in her many choices throughout her and jiwoons story. you see just many much suffering she unintentionally or intentionally left behind for her own selfishness. the story doesn't try to redeem her or make us feel sorry for her, we see her perspective and we're left to choose ourselves how she is or if she deserved what she got. Jonah singlehandedly carpet bombed an entire town who's body count is probably higher than any of the original killers combined, working with for an imperial forced that funded and build a coup of a democratically elected leader and propped up a dictatorial puppet. and the story is expecting us to feel sorry for him and trying to redeem him in the same page is mega cringe. "like look guys he took all the money from terrorists rebels and gave it to the victims" . tonally it was done in disrespectful taste, especially when you have to consider the seriousness and real life parallels of carmina's lore, sadly i dont have time to talk about the borderline torture porn obsession's bhvr has with their female killers. i think if jonah had came out on another chapter with the same lore in tact he wouldn't have been so awful, but putting him together with the artist was just not very good for him.

The clown is painfully unfun to play against. He just takes away our ability to see and the effect is way to strong combined with the slowdown. He just isn't fun to play against. No fun counterplay and an ability that just sucks to play against. At least nurse matches are either fun or they end fast

Yeah, he’s fun. Completely invaliding the survivor’s choice at a loop by using a power is fun. Because I don’t have to think about actually using my brain to chase. I have the guard chase the survivor and I cut them off. They have to leave the loop every time or they get hit if I use my power. And while they leave the loop they still might get hit for free. You can have 1000 hours as the Knight. You can have 10 hours. He doesn’t get anymore complicated than that.

@@elitechaz8440 That CAN be true but that's certainly not often the case. That's the case if you just played knight on release to just drop a guard on every loop. That's not the best playstyle anymore since the buff a couple patches ago. If you now draw out longer paths, they start the chase quicker so if you just drop it they'll never catch up to you. With the carnifex there is a trick to immediately break pallets as they're being dropped but if they don't drop then you can decide to just leave it there and waste your power or draw out a longer path which makes you lose distance but the guard starts chasing faster and you can go do something else if the situation calls for it. There is more to knight than your first bad impression.

Just looked up the Knight's weapon and it sure does says that his weapon is a "claymore", but it really isn't though. But now i see that it's not a zweihander, but still not a "claymore". I like Sadako! Maybe I'm biased, but I say the chapter deserves a B+, or an A if she was stronger. Sadako is very "well-designed," just her powers need some buffs.
