Man, i just love how BHVR made Pyramid Head justice, putting a lot of passion to designing it's power, animations, sfx, chase theme and lore. Everyone tought the Silent Hill chapter was gonna be just a huge cashgrab bc of everything that Konami did with the franchise, but in the end it was a DLC for the fans made by fans as well.

For me, Carmina Mora (The Artist) is actually an concept of Beauty and Tragedy in her character. Her Lore in nutshell is basically everything bad happens to her and trying to make her an more tragic character then Rin Yamaoka (The Spirit). But her design really screams elegant and horror by her bird based movements, voice lines, and power. Plus her map is actually beautiful design as to me it just like one of her artworks comes to life by the entity, I never understood why not much people overlook her style. But I just love everything about her as she has much stronger gameplay as an Sniper based killer. It's just my opinion about her.

I actually think the idea of her lore is really solid. This loving and caring woman hit with tragedy after tragedy, but still striving to make the world a better place until she is finally pushed to her breaking point is really interesting. The lore itself was just poorly written, but it’s concept is great.

as a dredge main, I wanna say that, to me atleast, dredge is truly unique. not only is it the first Entirely non human killer (I love demodoggy and will not deny demo walked so dredge could run. but demo is still rather humanoid in it's body even if it's still delightfully nonhuman. with the dredge, the only thing that could ever be said that was human is the mangled, misplaced, and malformed amalgamation of mutated flesh and bone), but I think just playing as and against the dredge is a whole different feeling. the concept that this killer can be almost anywhere at once is rather unsettling. usually, you know roughly where the killer is, and there's a feeling of safety if your on the opposite side of the map. but not with dredge, you never feel safe against a dredge. there's also nightfall, where your thrown into darkness and can only see a little bit infront of you, not able to hear where the killer is, only able to hear the wailing cries and moans of the fold (cult). you are constantly robbed of information when playing against a dredge, you never know when your safe, and there's a fucking abomination chasing after you with monstrous growls and the sounds of the souls suffering within it crying out to you. you even fucking become one of those crying souls in it's mori, which is so perfect. and also, the fact one of the hiding places in the game is now rendered unsafe is also perfect playing As the dredge also feels great. i fucking love walking around as this truly horrific creature who is constantly catching people off guard. i know I am unsettling, I know that a lot of people in this game do not feel safe when they see those locks on the lockers loading into a match. there's also the fucking fantastic feeling of teleporting to a locker someone's in, especially if you weren't even near them. I'll just be teleporting around for mobility and suddenly oh my god there's a person in my arms now where tf is a hook- everything from the design, to the gameplay, to the lore (which is also fucked up and horrific and I would be talking about it if this comment wasn't already long enough) is just plain scary and sometimes terrifying. i went against a ttv once and it was his first time playing against dredge and he was constantly freaking the fuck out, it was fantastic and I was so honored to have been his first dredge. anyway, I think dredge really does make this game feel like a horror game again and I think that's fantastic

Making a character who's primary power is information based instead of the information being a second function of the power. Her power is backwards from most killers where typically anti loop is primary and info is secondary. Hers is vice versa, the anti-loop being a side thing and information on an area the primary function. Is it effective? Ehhhh... we'll see what people come up with. But they're trying something different. Also I really love the idea of newer killers getting a map by 'invading' an old map. This is a brilliant way to give more killers home maps without having to make a whole new map and at the same time rework older maps. I hope we see this for other killers without a 'home' map. Maybe Twins could take over a map and have a camp somewhere.

For Spirit, I would have said my favorite thing about her is the weird movement she does with her hands and the sound that plays with it just before she phase-walks. It’s super satisfying, but not quite as much as Demo stretching his big yaoi hands before he shreds.

As a PyramidHead main, and a long time lover of silent hill, my favorite thing about the executioner is that he genuinely feels like a punisher. You can’t really be cocky or use seconds chance against him. If you go down while tormented there is no boil over, break out, or possibly decisive strike. You’re going in that cage. If you try and tea bag the killer you can just as easily be knocked by punishment and look who’s on the ground now. Truly one of the absolute best killers added to the game.

Knight: I love how I can be lazy, and have others break pallets, and gens for me. Twins: I love the fishing game that they can do, it makes them very fun if you want a new game mode. Artist: I love how you can to a set up rush situation. With a good set up in the distance you can run to another end of the map, hit with crows, smack then watch the panic over time.

6:09 perfection, just pure perfection. Huntress is my all time killer main for the four years I’ve been playing this damn game. She’s one of those killers you need to learn and overcome and it’s been very worth it going over that hurdle to perfect her and it’s very awarding! I really like the Skull Merchant. I love machine-enhanced psyco-killers and that's what Adriana is. Another important thing about her is that she is weak and don't have an opressive power (also the new type of skill checks to hack the drones are cool and hope something like that get used in future killers instead of regular skill checks all the time), and new obsession perk is something I like since the obsession mechanic is really cool but other than STBFL or PWYF there's not much other obsession perks. Also, we are getting a ton of great changes to the game for free with this new chapter: new Red Forest and shelter woods rework, improved map generation for some maps, HUD gone during moris (making all of 31 moris in the game even cooler) and finally the end of the Eruption meta. I really think that all that negativity towards the chapter comes from disappointment. A lot of people overhyped thinking we were getting a "killer robot" (which would have been cool and I hope we get one on the future) has made that a lot of you just throw a tantrum at her instead of give her a chance to have a spot on DBD. Also, part of this disappointment is due to the chapter not being a home run like Roots of Dread and Project W, and not being the super cool idea the Forged in Fog chapter was. I really think this chapter is good, even better than some of other chapters we have received recently (like Artist or Trickster) and I hope all of this overreaction with the chapter ends soon.

The best thing to me about my main, Ghostface, is the fact he HAS jumpscare potential, and a lot of it too. Some of the scariest moments I have had in DBD have been with or against a Ghostface. He's more expressive and more amusing than the average Killer because of his ability to crouch and his players are usually pretty damn chill. About Skull Merchant: One of the few things I like about Skull Merchant is the fact she is clearly inspired by a mix of Predator and The Most Dangerous Game, that short story. I think that's a great idea for a chapter! The problem is I don't think BHVR thought her design through as well as her concept.

My all time favorite trial while running as a Survivor: I was running as Vittorio, discovered I was up against The Cenobite. Managed to run several gens and avoid getting hooked the entire time (escaped several chases, too), was the last Survivor standing... got downed by The Cenobite... and he walked past several Hooks to drop me right onto the hatch, allowing me to escape. Well played, good sir, well played. i could see Pinhead doing something like that.

Funny story about Doctor and how he punishes. I was having a horrible game one day two hooks and 2 gens left. However the survivors made one mistake. They got confident. Constantly trying to find me so they could embarrass me. One dead mans switch (Or what ever you call it) and I turned it into a team kill. Thank god they were chill in the end game chat lol.

Trapper did get an update with consistency buffs, quality of life changes and new add-ons. This was even long after survivors could no longer disarm his traps temporarily. Despite this he's still the bottom of the barrel. I think that, much like base kit BT for survivor, some weaker killers should have base kit Corrupt at something like 60 sec to let them set up abit.

The Blight was legitimately terrible in the PTB. The killer was almost unplayable due to his wide hitbox that got caught on everything. The community wasn't wrong judging him then. Most people did see his potential, we just knew that currently at that time, he wasn't able to kill anyone, and that made him pretty terrible. Boy did reducing his hitbox change him...

I'm probably one of the few people who is kinda of excited for the skull merchant. I feel she just needs a few buffs and a bit more flashy touches to her design and she'd be really cool. Her power is pretty cool? Like tracking survivors and adding drones is honestly pretty cool. And I get that people don't care much for her 'MK baddie' look but I don't mind it again with a bit more flare it could be really nice. Like I feel like if they didn't wanna fully commit to the whole 'baddie' look, when I could've preferred if they had. I know a lot will disagree, but I generally like a lot about the Skull Merchant and am honestly very excited for her release. For one, I love the psychotic serial killers in DbD, mainly the reason I was immediately drawn to Trickster, Ghost Face and Pig, and think that her lore, of being a buisness woman who murders all threats she has in seizing the companies she immediately guts for profits is very cool. I like her design a lot as well, with her gas mask covered in what I presume are diamonds or jewelry giving off a flashy and eccentric look, and her massive claw being very intimidating and imposing. I also enjoy the concept of her power, having a setup killer purely based on tracking survivors. I know their is a lot of problems and a lot to be desired from her, and I have some changes I would like to see to her. For instance, voicelines that give a more sinister and cruel aura like Trickster, or giving her some extra ability in chase, like maybe a charging attack with her claw ala Doomfist's punch from Overwatch, or something else that is not powerful, but helpful nonetheless like Pig's Ambush. I hate that she is getting so much negativity, since she hasn't even been released yet, since as you can tell I do like her, and the entire point of the PTB is to get player feedback before being released into the game. Regardless of what changes will occur, I do enjoy her addition and will be giving her as much love as the other killers we have.

One thing people seem to forget is that the knight was added as a loose partnership with the game For Honor, as For Honor added a dbd event involving new executions involving huntress and trapper, a new game mode with trapper in it, and plenty of new cosmetics. Behavior kept up their end of the bargain with a permanent killer loosely based on some For Honor concepts, as well as a couple unique cosmetics and charms that directly relate to For Honor. I think it is worth noting how unique and fitting the knight is in the game while still being a crossover inspired character.

Trapper is my favorite boy (Not a Trapper Main, but I always enjoy facing him, I'd run at him and let him kill me, if my friend wouldn't stop me all the time) Adiris and Huntress I love aesthetically, but I have trouble facing them because I can't dodge for the life of me. But at the same time, I admire Huntress players who can snipe cross-map Trickster is my favorite babygirl of the killers. I love him. What do you mean Dredge may not be thirst trap material? Have you looked at this sexy beast? I am thirsting over it all the time! Also, for Skull Merchant. I love her design. She's not on a level of Adiris and Anna, but she is hot in her own right. I like it so much more than some cyborg or predator variation. (Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind doing robots, I was all over Nick, Danse and Curie in FO4). I really like her story too. That she just kills for the fun and because she makes a profit out of it. We have too many sad girl killers that kill because they were pushed to do it (Like Nurse, Artist, Hag) or they kill out of necessity or territorial reasons (Huntress) Or because it was like ... normal/ritualistic? (Adiris). Definitely not enough ladies that kill because they find it fun. I like that.

While I am not excited for the skull merchant and do think she’s very flawed and seemingly rushed, there are 2 things about her I genuinely like. 1. She’s the first killer to bring in current or future technology to the game. Like cmon if her power wasn’t so shit people would be talking about how cool having radar and drones in DBD is. 2. She’s the first non-tragic female killer. Every single female killer, with no exceptions before skull merchant, has had some horrible twisted past that made them the way they are. Skull merchant is just evil. Like finally.

I'm a Slinger main, I love my boi. He's Micah Bell but I don't wanna feed him his own tongue. And I like that his hitboxes are really small, unlike Huntress. I miss 90% of my shots with Slinger but once I do land that max distance shot after 3 gens are completed and I only have 3 hooks. It makes up for all the sadness and pain I felt minutes prior. He is an addiction, and whenever I see a decomposed Micah as a Survivor. It brings a smile to this broken jaw of a man. Keep at it fellow Slinger mains! I love you all🖤

I never understand the hate for Artist lore when literally the whole game is based in misery. Claiming her lore was borderlin toture porn would mean the whole series is up for criticism. Also not sure how you consider Clown > Artist. Artist gameplay requires the player to smartly place crows on loop to force survs off it. She also requires good map knowledge to apply map pressure. She's hell of a lot harder than clown.

hello, i am the one person that actually likes skullmerchant! does she look like a survivor sexy skin? yes. is her mori despite the rework boring? yes. is her walk incredibly goofy and not at all scary? juppp!! BUT. i actually enjoy how the SM changes the gameplay for survivors! she adds new objectives for the survivors and interesting decisions. do i get rid of the camera and put myself on her radar or do i just sneak around it? do i risk being exposed or do i just let her do her 3 gen. I've had fun games with her and sneaking around a patrolling drone to do a gen right next to it without disabling it makes me feel like im playing as a super spy (since SM is less likely to patrol at the gen because of just that drone). also also, if u wanna get chased, u can just disable a drone and tada, mommys here! i would tho say that id add that one add on that let's her see the aura of survivors in active drone zones to her base kit to make her more Intel killer and less M1 3gen menace (also tall mommy bonus points ofc)

Totally agree. Also the DBD Michael is from the comics that take place after H6 PC and before H20 (combining both timelines), so he should be the unstoppable force he is in the OG timeline. Wish he was stronger, because he deserves it. Also to me the new timeline just doesn't exist. But we might be lucky, since it seems like they make at least one more movie taking place somewhere in the OG timeline after H4.

My favorite thing about Skull Merchant is how she takes the heat off of other miserable killers. You can say things like "damn going against (instert a killer here) is really not fun but at least its not Skull Merchant"
