Leonhart, I want to thank you for all the nostalgia that you provide in your videos. You are the one reason I got back into collecting. Ever since I got back into pokemon, it allowed me to reconnect with my childhood best friend. We (along with our significant others) now get together now about once a week and have dinner, a few adult beverages, open packs, and do some trading. Without your videos I don't believe we would have reconnected like we did. We've always been best friends but just drifted apart. Wishful thinking. The card graders are there because they know what to look for. There may be bad days. But the more people call and complain the more Mark's on the employees record and possible firing if the internal investigation goes toward the customer just being dumb or the grader being correct. You think they would grade based on their emotions? They have a check sheet and go off what their parameters are. That's it. He just is sad hes not making more of a killing then he is

They learn more they see more of different things which increases their knowledge of what to look for and what to scrutinize. The population gets bigger of the amount of 9's, 10's and so forth. You think the grading companies make their money from just the cost of grading cards? Lol No these companies have investments in the stock that these cards prices are at thats publicly traded shares. It's all a gamble market. They are at a good place where they can actually make the numbers in their favor. It's all a game mate.

What's happened with PSA anf BGS as of lately is just tons of inconsistencies in grades, which just makes them look unprofessional. A spike in card submissions should not alter the way they grade. If you're OCD like me, and buy true fit sleeves and place your cards in the 35pt hard cases. You can almost pregrade your card and see the flaws better, I always find that once my cards are slabbed I see the flaws more. Figured out that using the 35pt cases with true fit sleeves also helps this. Awesome Blastoise btw, I need that beauty for my 1st Ed set still!
