He doesn’t seem to realize that most players take 2-3 turns longer to clear these events so it’s a lot more common that they see the worse side of units like ssj3 that fall off a cliff after several turns, that video he watched against sword of hope at 31:18 was a 100% ssj3 goku on turn 4, so his ssj3 goku still had 60% DR just from the intro plus 5% for each super he did the turn before, and he still took 111k, most players would see him eat 5x that

@@justindai8401 regardless of dupe level you want to run him slot 1 to fully take advantage of his defensive power and since he doesn’t get the extra attack buff in slot 1, at 55% his damage seems really unimpressive, meanwhile Vegeta is in a similar boat damage wise but when he transforms he gets a huge stat increase plus he gets the stacks from base so he does real damage, only trade off is he’s slightly weaker defensively at the start, once the next wave of power creep hits I feel like ssj3 Goku is gonna eat it hard because if base vegeta’s turn 1 defense isn’t good enough then ssj3 goku is a fish once his intro is out or close to it

25:30 To me, I feel like turn 1-2 are more important mainly for stack-dependent units that have Slot 1 conditions than Turn 1-2 in general. So long as the rotation has good guard with decent DR and dodge, the first 2 turns are a breeze for the most part. Attack RNG feels the most important from my experience in Dokkan; Another additional or crit makes a huge difference in high difficulty content

I've always blamed the movie for this, they have 0 content about beast gohan for game developers to use, even the 2nd beast gohan on legends has the same animations for the most part as the first beast gohan. They legit just had him do a kick and the special beam cannon. If I was an animator what would I make beast gohan do thats unique to the character? I have no idea, piccolo and the gammas had waaaay more to use. Atleast dokkan did some form of original animation with the piccolo super though.

I understand how Truth grades things and why, but it is a bit disconnected to practical play. I am going to use items and support memories, and how units perform when I use those things matters more to me than how they perform not using those things since choosing not to use them is just artificially making things harder for myself vs. how I actually would play. It's not like that makes every unit and team safe either. If a team is too squishy, items will not save it throughout a whole run. However, if a unit only has a specific weakness that you can predict and make up for with items/support memory consistently in combination with a team that can hold things together otherwise, that matters to me. It's why I'm probably more favorable for a unit like LR Broly than Truth, because I'm thinking about him with support memory and items being in place to make his team more safe, which makes his damage output more relevant to me. But, I've been watching Truth forever, and this has always been a point of contention with me. Alas, this is a part of why we can end up with different outlooks on units, which is fine.

The whis event should be broken up into 2 difficulties like dokkan events. First difficulty has bronze and solo silver equips, and the second difficulty could have duo silver and gold equips. It’s still a chance to pull good stuff, but it’s not heavily skewed towards not being in the player’s favor.
