Currently from and in Hawaii, my husband is active duty in the AF & after 6 years I finally decided to go the enlisted route. We PCS to Buckley in October so that’s when I’m planning to start the process. I’ve been watching videos about BMT for weeks & came across yours! I’ve watched every video you posted about the AF & all I gotta say is much mahalos! These raw real videos make me feel at ease about the whole process! I appreciate you and your videos! I just graduated last Thurs from the 331st, Lead the Way Wolfpack. Now I'm a Shark at the 316th TRS. It's nice always being in the best squadrons.

Also, we had Pacer Forge, no more Beast week, it's a 1 and a half day mock deploy and we do all the obstacles on the first day.

I had pacer forge we did 2 days 1 night. We did the obstacles on the second day before we left. And 322 is the best squadron at basic 🙂🤣. Go eagles 🦅

If you like working with your hands and being outside all day you’ll love the job. I really like the job and it’s a good trade to learn. We’re always busy always something to do and the work environment for the most part is pretty cool. If you go to tech school in the winter it will be really cold and probably snow. But youll learn a lot and it’s fun working the equipment. If you have any questions just let me know

@@Thatsnotgee we work Monday-Friday. Sometimes on the weekends if it’s like an emergency or something has to get done. And yes we work during the rain usually clean ups like drains or tree branches

It all depends fr. Mine went fast and it took bout a month n a half from when I first talked to recruiter to when I got to basic. Longest part is waiting for your medical stuff to clear.

Gang please respond how u get to keep your beard. What was your process step by step

You going to have to shave a couple times at basic. Then ask to go to medical for a shaving waiver and if your face starts breaking out and you get bumps from shaving they’ll give you a waiver for shaving. And you’ll have to go to medical again once you get to tech school and your first base.
