Imagine working hard to buy a home, and then having half the neighborhood rent out to AirBNB. Transients, strangers, etc. coming and going at strange times of the night... ridiculous.
@JaymeSplendid2 жыл бұрын
Yeah but that's not what happened here. The landlord AirBNB'd the place. She monitored the Ring camera so it's not like she rented it out to someone who then rented it out as an AirBNB and had no idea. If a whole house is an AirBNB, there is a high likely chance that it's the landlord who's running it.
@SmoothNickel2 жыл бұрын
Yup that's a good point and definitely more a thing nowadays, even if they are mostly good people and or friends, families etc, it can ruin but definitely change the dynamics of your neighborhood and affects your and everyone's communities and not for the better as people that come and go just don't care as much even if they are good people. Also the people living in neighborhoods with multiple AirBNB, VRBO, etc will also start to change or lose how they feel about these ever changing travelers vacationers coming and going in these now in these mini motels. Maybe if you have an HOA you may be able or possibly have a chance to put a stop to this, but I'm not sure, maybe also this will lead to some legislation or more regulation of these at home businesses, it's definitely very different to annual or even several month seasonal rentals we had become more accustomed to.
@justaskin85232 жыл бұрын
Our HOA requires rentals in the community to have a minimum 12-month lease, which makes AirBNB disallowed here. Not sure, but maybe can go month-to-month after the first 12 month lease expires. But that first 12 months is what makes AirBNB a non-starter. And get this, the 12-month requirement is not new; it was in the bylaws since the 90s. Sometimes it pays to have an HOA who enforces the bylaws. Now of course, this doesn't prevent some drug dealer from entering into a 12-month lease, setting up a point of sale location and maybe a grow-house in the garage. And they can bug out if they see the blue lights. But it's still more difficult, because a 12 month lease kind of requires you to disclose yourself and maybe even have a credit check done. That, plus the neighbors will see the suspicious activity (cars and people coming by every few minutes at all hours of the day and night), and they'll report it to the sheriff. The sheriff department will then get a subpoena for the power company to disclose the power usage. Grow houses always use power 10 times that of the average in the community. Pot and stronger drugs require a lot of hours of very bright light or it won't grow.

I agree with Judd on most things but weed does not cause violence Alchohol is way way way worse than weed. I know shitty people who smoke weed who were shitty people before smoking weed but I also know good decent people who turn into absolute violent monsters when they get on that bottle. This had nothing to do with weed and had everything to do with money. You tell anybody you have thousands of dollars at your house and you are going to be robbed that is just a fact. This wasn't a case of "They got high and then turned violent" this is a case of someone knowing you have a bunch of money and they want to take it from you by force. I know someone who used to travel with upwards of 50k in his backpack and made it known to people around him he was robbed twice once by force and once just someone taking the backpack when he wasn't looking and it was his own dumbass fault for letting people know he traveling with that much money. Not saying it makes it right that he was robbed but you don't tell people these things and expect to not have someone at some point try and rob you. Also, by all accounts this guy who did this was a violent criminal way before this why was he even on the street? Just to add I don't smoke it myself I don't even drink but if I had to choose if I wanted to hang out with a stoner or an alcoholic I'm going stoner all day I can't stand alcohol even though I don't care if people drink it do what you want to your own body just don't expect me to want to be around you. It is just alcohol is by far the worse of the two but alcohol gets this pass even though it actually causes violence, unlike weed where people can't be bothered to stop eating their nachos to get up and fight. Also, there are scientific studies that show weed decreases aggression you can link violence to a lot of things but it doesn't mean that thing caused the violence. What caused violence here is money someone wanted the money it didn't matter if it was weed or anything else someone saw that this individual had copious amounts of cash in items and weed and wanted to take it for themselves. It didn't matter what it was it was money in the eyes of the perp and that goes with anything, post on social media that you have tens of thousands of dollars under your mattress and I bet you bad things are going to happen to you.

When you AirBnB your house and folks mis-use it for illegal purposes. Really. Do they think this is acceptable and that they will not get caught because they rented a place to do their illegal activity? There's also the AirBnB that was used for a party and 200 people attended, somebody started shooting and 2 people are dead. smh STOP renting AirBnB to just anybody even though you have no idea that they will mis-use the property and endanger others who live nearby too.

16:12 Dude that is the first to walk in is definitely snitching/telling on those dudes lol "he's involved in the investigation". I don't think it can get much clearer than that - he might as well have said "he's currently telling everything he knows to us because he is attempting to get out of an accessory to murder/1st degree murder charge, and he is severely lacking loyalty to all of the other suspects". Someone is gonna recognize this dude and everyone now knows he snitched- this could be a death sentence for him if he isn't careful. That distinct look - 6'3"ish black or half black, those glasses and body type that is impossible to miss. I bet the other dude that hasn't been identified goes by some kind of a street name or alias, and this guy cooperating doesn't know his real name, or much about him at all. Its only a matter of time before someone identifies him over social media, or someone sees this and recognizes him. Better believe anyone that knows him will give him up quick for that 5000$! Social Media will be what solves this case. Good Luck and I hope you find these murderers. Killing someone over pot is absolutely sickening, and theres no way that the amount of money that they got from this was worth all 3(or more)life sentences that theyre sure to get . Kinda open and shut case with this being on camera and all lol

@@RonyiQ I believe he did. He said the were all “in the same box… or since it’s Easter, the same basket” bc a death caused during the commission of a felony crime aka as a result of a felony operation, makes everyone that was a part of that operation liable to a degree.
@RonyiQ2 жыл бұрын
@@heatherb2618 Actually he didn't because if they were arrested for their part in the murder as they should have been, then their mugshots and names would have been fodder in the press conference as well. You know how this man parades arrested people in front of the media, but this did not happen with the people who rented that Airbnb. In fact, when the press asked who was the first guy who went in with the two suspect the sheriff would not disclose who that person was when it was OBVIOUS it was one of the people who carried the shot man out of the house later. Are you blind?

Love the sheriff but having marijuana illegal is draconian. People kill over shoes , sunglasses , even ten dollars. Should we make all of that illegal too ? The problem isn't the marijuana period. Its not the gun , it's not car when someone is drunk and Jill's someone. It's the person. Period. Anyone that says otherwise is a complete fool. That many felonies and he is walking among our children. This is the judges and prosecutors fault. Period. They should be sitting in a jail cell next to him.

Why do y’all take shit out of context and then act like you’re smart? Weed is abused as a drug 95% of the time, not the “medicinal” way that people like to lie and say it is. That means: #1, brain disfunction.. #2, 💵.. #3, lust for 💵. How do you compare people killing for shoes and say, “should we make shoes illegal?” Total illogical statement because murders / violent crimes with weed involved vs. shoes, is a Million to One comparison. You have to come with more respectable arguments than that.
@lastshallbefirst55162 жыл бұрын
Y’all think making weed legal will fix shit? Alcohol is legal, and is responsible behind TENS OF THOUSANDS of murders & vehicle deaths every year in America. People are still gonna sell weed regardless if it’s legal, which means people are still gonna commit crimes behind it. Why…one big reason, lust of money.
