I would have been here this night! I met my husband three years before and we were married in 1981. I was in the early stages of my pregnancy with my first son. Such beautiful memories. Thank you John for a lifetime of memories. I was 14 when I became a fan, 54 years ago.

This performance really touches my soul. The vocals and musicianship. I have just finished reading Beeb Birtles' memoir. He has a Christian faith. Graham Goble has a spirituality. I didn't know whether John Farnham had a faith at the time this performance was done. In his new memoir, Farnham does mention God. Every year the best performers at Carols by Candlelight are those for whom the words of carols actually mean something to them. There are others who will just perform Christmas Carols like they are pop songs.

Only discovered John in 2018 but Johns' time with LRB to me was a success..beautiful renditions of LRB music - Reminiscing, Cool change(different from original of course but to me another notch up and the singing quality on those live concerts of these songs are at par to this day-incredible singing) Thanks LRB and thanks Graeham Goble for uploading and for LRB.
