I couldn't agree with you more. I will never understand why people spend hunderds of dollars to see a big show that takes a lot of waiting around while the artist goes and gets changed. Give me John Farnham's concerts every time. Those are the concerts worth paying for. The only other people I've seen in concert was Phil Collins, New Kids On The Block (Hey, I was 12 and it was a gift from my Mum), Tina Arena, MC Hammer and Janet Jackson. The concerts that have really stuck in my memory? John Farnham and Phil Collins.

Just watched the 2017 version of this courtesy of Anthony Callea. Carols in the domain. Either they’d seen this or they should have. Their’s was nice but doesn’t hold a candle (see what I did there?) to this one. This still makes my eyes think someone is peeling onions. All time must see by all on the planet.

Always loved Venetta's voice. She is so good. If people ever look at her career, they will see she was one of the Ikettes which were backup singers for Tina Turner. She has worked with so many famous people during her career in America. I think John is blessed to have her back him here in Australia and I am sure he respects her and her talented voice.

I was introduced to John Farnham's music by an army buddy in 1989. It is sad that his music is hard to find here in the USA and really unheard of if you ask about it in "RECORD STORES". This country doesn't know what its missing!

Even tho John Farnham isnt big in the USA he Still made the Charts His 80s Iconic pop/Rock Anthem You're The Voice When it was Eventually Released In the USA In 1990 it Became Number #82 on the US Billboard hot 100 stayed on the Chart for 5 weeks and In 1989 His number #1 Hit song Two strong Hearts was Realesed in the USA and Became Number #38 on the US Adult Contemporary Charts and stayed there for 4 weeks Straight Age of Reason Was Realesed in the USA but the Date Is Unknown So John is Known in the USA He just isnt as big and Huge as he is in places Like Here in Australia or Canada or UK or Germany or Ireland or sweeden or Denmark And even New Zealand... But he is well known in some parts of the USA Without a Doubt so I find it hard How he isnt Known in the US I find that Extremely Hard to Believe

I have had the Honour of seeing John Farnham live a few times in my life. And He is an Awesome Singer, along with his two Greatest Back up singers, Venetta Fields and Lindsey Field! I was born in late December '63 and yes my childhood was so much simpler and happier and unfortunately Life is no longer that simple.This is also where I come when I am needing a break from life. To think I spend a day a week with this LEGEND. I have read a lot of the comments and No one has mentioned her work with BARBRA STREISAND. Venetta stared along with Barbra in "A STAR IS BORN" in 1976. Her Vocal coaching is incredible. And she has not lost any of that awesome voice. Saw this in Sydney in 1986/87. Apparently when they went to Adelaide, Stevie Wonder was in town and he joined them on stage for this number... OMG that would have been through the roof!
