Thank you. Stumpy Nubs posted a video of a horrible accident he had using an angle grinder and that put me off of getting a wood cutting blade but this one looks safer.

I was going to say the same! The flatter the angle the safer (and less material you remove)!

Blade stumpy nubs used had a much more aggressive cut to it. Believe it had teeth much like a chain saw blade, that said it’s important to use all proper safety gear and be overly cautious when cutting or carving wood with an angle grinder.

@@jamesgarris289 Yes .... it was a grab on the teeth that caused the kickback! The same thing can happen with the carbide "chunks" albeit on a lesser level. That is why I commented on the angle ;0)

I saw that on Stumpy Nubs site. That has put me off of using one of those angle grinders without all the covers and a TON of PPE.

Very worthwhile review. You just saved me time to find one of these blades. Thanks.

Don't tell anyone, but I have cut down the size of the shield to give me more maneuverability of the grinder. I remove the shield, or guard, place it in a vise and then use a cut off wheel to remove 1/3 of it. The grinder now can work in tighter spaces. You're welcome.

Bro...being a axeman myself, playing Les Paul's, your guitars are sweet. I have templates for Strat and LP bodies, although I've not attempted to make one yet. It's the cavity routing that worries me, as I use routers very little in my shop. I prefer hand cut mortices, not that I'm close to machine quality. I have some 5A flamed maple, about 30 bf 8/4 stock..bought many years ago when it was under $2 bf......would LOVE for a fellow ww'er and guitarist like you to build a guitar with it. Too bad you're so far from me here in WV.... Always liked the thought of a solid body SG style or Tele in highly flamed maple..maybe even dyed..... keep making saw dust and music, brother.

I invite you to retire the phrase, “I don’t have an artistic bone in my body” because your Truck Bed is indeed a work of art. You can disagree with my opinion, but many see that as being artistic. Take the compliment, you’ve earned it. 🎉
