Have you watched the video about the Brazilian (I think he was) alien guy? If you saw him in the streets, you would most likely think 'what the flying f*ck!'. But someone interviewed him, and gave the viewers an insight in what he is really like beneath the scary look. And he just seems like a genuine, very nice and polite guy. Alternative to say it mildly, sure. But not in any way a bad human being. I've always did my best to be somewhat open minded (to a degree), but that video still stood out to me.

I'm in an ongoing debate/argument with someone from a couple videos ago who said Mark is just doing all of this to make money and he doesn't care about these people. Which I absolutely know is not true. His videos are barely monetized gives money and buys things for people that he doesn't film. Alot of youtubers have to film every dime they give people. And Mark doesn't talk about all of this. I've gathered it just from little comments interviewees have made over the years in the videos. Marks an Wesome guy and I would love to be out there helping. His videos should all be monetized. It's ridiculous that they aren't.

Where do you begin to start commenting on this great interview. It's refreshing to hear Asher's journey on skid row to where he's at today. The wound care he provides is one of the greatest acts of compassion and kidness anyone could provide for their neighbors.IMO the best thing about these videos is the personal reflection we all can take based on our reaction to the story that is being shared.Everyone is judgemental including myself however these videos have truly opened my eyes and heart to become a more understanding and compassionate person.I've also wondered about the amount of money Mark is making off these videos but I also realized early on that he had to be donating a ton of money 💰 to facilitate this channel to keep the flow of interviews coming.I can't imagine doing 5 of these interviews a day for 5-10 years. These videos take an emotional toll on me just watching them so Hats off to Mark for being able to endure the emotional pain and stress these stories can inflict. These stories need to be told and I do think they are a service to Humanity as they should make people become more understanding and compassionate towards people with mental health issues, drug addiction and domestic abuse.Asher has endured skid row and become a productive member of his community but it probably wouldn't have happened if hard drugs had been a part of his life.I hope people watching this video come away with a better understanding of Mark and his Mission Thanks to Asher and his articulate interview and intimate perspective on skid row.

Mark is interviewing 5 people a day, every day of the year. Whilst doing this he gives out/pays people $1500 a day. That is $55 000 a year. For the last four years. Holy smokes.......Unwavering dedication and absolutely beyond generous. Hearing Asher's plight to be selfless and why Mark and Asher are so charitable is a super valid reminder for me to start being generous and charitable again, It is totally true that it doesn't matter what the person does with the money given to them, if they need it that bad and I have it then they are welcome to it. I feel that Mark's work truly isn't poverty porn, Asher is spot on, the fact that Mark is still there after 5 years does say it all.

He is prolific, no doubt. But this seems a little exaggerated. If he was interviewing 5 people a day 7 days a week, with each interview potentially going at least 1 hour, maybe more... there would be no time left to edit footage and upload, maintain this channel, arrange further interviews, do taxes, buy equipment, or do anything else at all. Asher is extremely intelligent and well spoken. Amazing cutting out drugs and especially alcohol (in his case) had such a positive effect. Alcohol is the real devil if you ask me

This was a very interesting interview. I enjoyed learning more about the Skid Row community and the 'behind the scenes stuff' that Mark does. This is probably one of my favourite interviews.

This is one of my favorite videos thus far on soft white underbelly! That being said, I probably only watched 50 of the 8000. Not only is Asher a wonderful interesting person but we got so much behind the scenes information about your channel. Wow

Thanks Mark and Asher for such a great interview. There's ALWAYS more to a story that we don't always know of.Mark your'e spot on about using humor to dull the impact of tragedy. I confess I did think some things that today, NOW I know are NOT true. IGNORANCE. Thanks for all you and now Asher do for Skid and others. Hope you read the comments on THIS ONE!!
