1. Thematic Graffiti:
In the early days of graffiti, artists often ventured beyond their names, crafting thematic pieces that told stories or conveyed messages. Thematic or celebratory walls are a great way to breathe new energy into your work. Consider commemorating holidays or special events with dedicated pieces. A Merry Christmas wall or a vibrant Happy Halloween piece can be a delightful departure from your usual tag. This can get you to try new letters, new combinations that you may not be used to and all of this information can be used when you try out your name again.
2. Name Exchange and Friendly Battles
Engaging with fellow graffiti artists is a fantastic way to reinvigorate your passion for tagging. Seek out peers, either in person or on social media platforms like Instagram, and do a friendly name exchange. This not only provides you with a break from your own tag but also offers a unique opportunity to see how someone else interprets and handles your letters. Friendly battles, are also great for this. Something friends and I would do is we’d swap the first two letters of your names and complete each other's pieces, can be both entertaining and enlightening. Now do be ready, you’re going to make some pretty bad work every so often when you try this but remember, we’re doing this for fun.

i keep fresh with my graff name by making a comic about graff and the main character name "My" which is diff name from my actual graff name

I have a problem with keeping flow and keeping my letters in the same style

Keep it simple practice the basics my friend. Let me explain. Flow is the only fundamental that starts out 100% correct. Want proof, ill type out my name "DR.GRIM" that flows perfectly. This means that flow can only be degraded by one thing, messing up the fundamentals. If your fundamentals are correct then your name would flow no matter the style. Now that we know that let's address the next part of your comment, style. First, what is style, it's the exaggeration of the fundamentals, that's all it is. Style is the result of how much you understand and how much you've practiced the basics. Now no amature artist has style at all, they aren't even capable of understanding personal style let alone creating one. The reason being is that they'd need to k ow the fundamentals to do either of those things. Since they don't know the basics they can't hope to understand style or exaggerate the basics, therefore they can't make style. So when we look at your comment , you're trying to force style you don't have and as a result you've destroyed flow. When you draw for fun don't worry about quality or getting better. When you draw to practice then NEVER add style to your work, keep it simple practice the basics

Then you're better off. Going solo isn't a bad idea at all. If you're not keeping it legal then stay safe and when, not if, when you get caught understand that's part of doing graffiti

Early on graffiti artist were pushing an art form, than a guy like cap came along, and it became pushing your own brand, the writers use to write there names differently everytime, and than artist had official recognizable pieces and repeat like advertisers.

Name Exchanges are fun. Graff battles on KZbin, Instagram and Graff community boards aka forums are also fun. I remember participating in KZbin Graff battles hosted by Sheva and Kyuill. I learned a lot from those and gained new friends.
