I can only hear where the comparison came from when you listen to focus vs mixtape grafh. It’s more cadence than anything.

Joe used the style on focus and a couple of clue mixtape freestyles but it wasn't as often as the label made it seem. They definitely spun that shit

There was a moment, they sounded similar. Joe sounded like Grahf on the his song "Focus". But his style started change after that song.

Dang near STILL has that baseline of sound in his delivery. WOW. His new album, "GOD's Timing" is 🔥But yea I wonder the timeframe of how close when Grafh came out and when "Focus" dropped. 🫡 to you. They did sound similar at first. Joe had the song Focus that sounded. Like wgat Gragf was doing at that moment. But than Joe put out Pump it up, Fire. Than Joe started putting out mixtape after mixtape and Grahf didn't put anything really good out. Looking back it was really Sony trying to start a beef to get Gragf hot cause he really wasn't.
