Great informative video, but I wish there was another camera setup with a closer view of the grafts and technique. Maybe do a double screen showing both views?

I recently grafted custard apples (annona reticulata) here in South Africa. I studied this video very closely and to my surprise almost every graft was a success (thank you Har!) however, within a few weeks the vegetation that popped at the buds on the graft turned dark green while the new growth below the graft took off (seems all the energy is going to the growth below the graft!). I was worried that if I removed the new sprouts below the graft, I might end up with a bare tree if the grafts ended up dying down the line. So I have risked this approach on two trees - where I nipped off all the new growth below the graft to see if the growth on the graft will be energised. Holding thumbs that the theory is sound and these will take off

So much information but can’t see anything in detail he’s doing.

We will try to provide closer up detail on future videos. The grafting technique is the same as for mangos, so you might find the mango grafting series helpful.

On a Cherimoya root stock I did 2 different Cherimoya and an Atemoya in our Antipodean spring currently and all took - holding no leaves down low

Does Har sell Annona scions? If he does sell how do we contact him? Thanks in advance.

Im a proffesional videographer in Miami and would just like to advice that if u don’t do extreme close ups on what he’s doing, people are not going to properly learn or even know what he’s holding in his hand. Right before he makes the next move, he has to wait until the camera has the perfect shot to continue to explain. :)

What is the liquid you spray on the scion? What does it do? I thought to avoid liquid on scion?
@zenyrgarden7859 Жыл бұрын
copper fungicide (cueva brand) i believe
