Graham Hancock BANNED from Serpent Mound: Major Controversy at Serpent Mound - Drone Timelapse

INCREDIBLE HISTORY

Күн бұрын

On June 20th, 2022, the Summer Solstice Eve, I made my second trip to Serpent Mound with the intention of filming a Timelapse of the Sunset aligning perfectly with the Serpent's Jaws. This alignment is one of the worlds greatest examples of Archeoastronomy, and shows the magnificent minds of Ancient Man.
Graham Hancock is an author, researcher, and writer, that recently disclosed that he was banned from Serpent Mound. Hancock made the announcement on the Joe Rogan podcast where he was promoting his Netflix series "Ancient Apocalypse" alongside Randall Carlson. He was banned for having the opinion that Serpent Mound is far older than Mainstream Academia believes and he backs his theory up with good evidence.
In this video, I explore the controversy while showing off some of the footage I was able to obtain over the last 2 years at Serpent Mound, including the latest Summer Solstice Eve on June 20th, 2022.

This is ridiculous. What kind of society bans someone because they don't agree with their theory? Because that's all it is, a theory. They cannot prove theirs, so they try to stop someone who is trying to reveal the truth? It makes them look weak and scared. I support Graham!

Graham Hancock was NOT banned from Serpent Mound. He is allowed access like anyone else. He was told that it would be inappropriate to stay on the site for four days with a full film and sound crew. This was nothing to do with his theories or 'mainstream' scholars diisagreeing with him, even though this is a recurrent claim he makes.

look at it this way, reactions like this help to confirm that there is SOMETHING to the theories, like how Egypt won't allow a search for the reported vault under the Spynx's paws, or why the Saudis have fenced off and declared Jabal-al-Musa (The mountain of Moses) which is the more likely site of Mount Sinai off limits to research, or how the Turks have cordoned off Mount Ararat (where it's believed the Ark landed). There is an old ww2 bomber pilates' saying " If you ain't catching flak, you ain't over the target!"

There is something magical and beautiful about being okay with not knowing. These days we pretend that we have everything figured out but its ignorance. There is a humility and wonder present in keeping an open mind to the possibilities of this experience that we have very much lost touch with but I believe we are returning there.

There is another date that does not use a horizonal setting to date the Serpent--it is an astral event--i.e. a perfect alignment with the constellation Draconis nearly 5,100 years ago which Graham included in his book America Before. Graham's own date focuses accurately upon the position of the SSSS upon the westmost feature of the escarpment, and we here at Serpent Mound (Friends of Serpent Mound) pretty much agree with Graham that something possibly may have been there 10,000 years ago. There may have been a giant toad or frog effigy, according to Indian lore as recorded after the Revolutionary War. Interestingly however, the 5,100-year-old-date is shown on page 34 of America Before. The pole star 5,000 years ago is beneath the seventh coil from the tail (Cherokee alignment from Mooney , a Smithsonian ethnologist from the 1890s). The circle is called the Thuban Circle--the same pole star used to align the Great Pyramid. The Cherokee called it "The heart of the Serpent, i.e. the 'heart' or highest point in the night sky 5,100 years ago. If that date sounds familiar, that's because the Maya mathematicians calculated it to be a 13 ba'ktun interval of time that ended in 2012. Please do not overlook the 30 points of light that fall meticulously upon the margins of the effigy! Our conclusion thus says that the Maya had a hand in reconstructing the Great Serpent because it highly accurately embodies their math.

this is a better intro and primer than any of the netflix specials. I've been really interested in what Graham Hancock and others like him have had to say in their research to an older history for about a year now, and when I saw the netflix special I hoped it would be on how some recent discoveries basically confirm what he's been saying but package it in a way that's like a crash course for anyone who hasn't read his or any similar books. Nope, they really focused on just the pas accusations of being a pseudo archaeologists, dramatic music that drowned him out, and made him look even more like a conspiracy theorist. Frankly your videos are better and wouldn't be as big of an audience but would be cool if you could pair up with Graham Hancock and the others in the series and basically do a redo...

Beautiful video! This taken in June of 2022 shows the sunset to the left of center by about three sun diameters! At 7:06 you mention this as 2000 years ago, as same of what we see today! Guess I'm confused.... This 26,000 year cycle seems to suggest that in about 12,000 years from now the sunset will fall back to center on the serpent's alignment or set more north to the right. And this would prove a older date for it's construction!

Well illustrated and articulated. Ownership of ‘the narrative’ is always at the center for those too identified with their own beliefs. Chances are it is only a defense mechanism that kicks in when one lacks clarity on a topic one has taken ownership of, but have not truly explored enough to actually experience for themselves of what others have said on that topic. Why? Cause that takes work. That is why they rely on emotive ‘arguing’. They completely miss the point of what an ‘academic argument’ is. To debate is misunderstood as a fight, which serves the purpose of maintaining control over the topic, so they ‘believe’, which is really just to pretend to know something you do not know first hand. And it’s not their fault. It is what their systems of education have taught them. This is a perfect real life example of John 1:1-8 in action. The upside is Artificial Intelligence will replace their sources with the collective whole on the topic and the bar will have to be raised high above the lowest common denominator at some point. Once the dust settles, these emotive tendencies will calm down or they’ll give themselves heart attacks. Be patient. Be human. Be kind. And one day, as the Serpent is a calendar is a clock is astronomically connected, the realization that these mechanics can not be wished away no matter how many childish temper tantrums are thrown, the better both they and we all will be. For they is we. One planet. One species of humankind. Be both human and kind. Time here is short. Far too short to fight about it. Seek to know more better what you want to know more well. Help others to do the same. Visit Serpent Mound, stand upon that common ground of curiosity, for from this soil all come, all feed and all will return… to SOIL. Each life is that egg, each is eaten by time. From the eternal you came, to it you shall return. Every piece of LIFE seeks to reach its full potential. And we, ‘humankind’, are but a piece. Again. Be both. Cheers

John Anthony West had a great name for these people, he called them LACKADAMIA! I'm glad you pointed this out, when I heard Graham say this i was upset and thought this is what Zahee Hawass would do in Egypt... but it's clear that American Academic's are no better than those. Btw have you seen the sun dagger in Chaco Canyon which was awesome plus the lunar alignments which are on an 18 year cycle and probably longer? Sadly the Chaco Canyon stone "fell" and no longer cast the sun dagger on the spiral anymore. Makes me think some lackademics pushed it over cuz it had been there forever. It was discovered in the late 80's i believe and then it falls like 35 years later hmmmm. But anyhow i believe the spiral shape is significant if you notice the phaistos disc is on a spiral and is in my mind a calendar. The coiled snake, the Newgrange spirals and the spirals at Nazca plus the shadow at Chechen itza the snake shadow down the pyramid.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard for journalists to tell the truth about the megalithic sights ancient societies didn’t align anything, they didn’t measure anything. While their alignment is astrological the layout and pattern was not conceived by man. The Book of Enoch in the Dead Sea Scrolls quotes Enoch (great grandson of Moses) “Lightning will leave marks on the earth.” This describes crop circles because like lightning electro magnetic energy comes from the earth projected straight up from the earth to the stratosphere. The Egyptian Pyramids, stone henge, and all megalithic structures were built upon marks left on the earth and each block laid aligned with the pattern left behind. Of coarse they are perfectly aligned. They are aligned with the cycles in astrology, but man didn’t lay the pattern, the creator did!!! The big secret is these sites are nodal point on the earth that the creator has chose as locations where life was created. Be is an animal, plant, insect, simple felled organism, or complete living and breathing creature someone was created at these locations. The other secret is that they are also locations of healing and realignment of DNA and spiritual connection. I have experienced it myself. 14 years ago I suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury, my knees and ankles deteriorated, cancer forming, and suffering memory loss. I meditated for 3 hours at this exact site the “Serpent Mound” in Peebles, OH during the Great Eclipse. The meditation is the same technique Jewish mystacist’s employ to form a MerKaBah within the sacred Kabbalahlistic teachings. I meditated before, during, and after the Eclipse and the entire time I focussed on connected to the field of divine consciousness while asking with a penitent heart to correct each affliction. I focused on each individual body part and each symptom for several minutes each. I left feeling nothing as if I wasted my time. During the 3.5 hour drive home my knees and ankles began aching horrible and a headache slowly progressed until it was as bad and the same exact pain I had experienced 14 prior when I had sustained the brain injury. I went home and slept hard. When I woke it was all gone. My daily aches and pains gone, the marks from the cancer on my abdomen lighting progressively in shade. I am still healing over time. The next day after I meditated as I do daily and it was the most intense meditation session I have ever had. I could feel my pineal gland flowering and the images, shapes and colors of what I saw while meditating were crystal clear, perfect in form, and vibrant in color. The only way I can describe it was that it was “fluid”. I have already traveled through time and space in previous sessions back to ancient Egypt, but this experience was more intense. I entered a portal that appeared like a bathtub drain where water is impacted by gravity, only it was square in shape not round, it was not water flowing into it, it was atmosphere flowing like water. I am beginning to develop the ability to read minds but it’s intermittent. Even minds of people that are a great distance away. I believe within the year I will be able to manifest physical changes in the 3rd dimension. Leading to do it and learning consistency and control requires practice and time.

Yet he also conveniently ignored the fact that making this "correcrion" caused the 3 bends to misalign 🙄🙄

Use common sense on this. There were no mound builders pre woodland because of the time and effort(people) needed to do this. Hunter gatherers had no time for something as frivolous as this, nor the numbers. If so, they’d be everywhere, and dated. The Adena’s built it, Ft Ancient people buried in it, end of story.
