Your beginnings as a band was magical, just as your relationship w/Joni is, one of my other favorites. It’s hard to believe she didn’t realize how much people appreciated her. Her songs, and yours, have helped me so much through life! And I’m happy you and David were working things out. I knew his end was near, but he was near to my heart as well. That first song you harmonized with Crosby & Stills still makes me stop and sing along. No wonder you left the Hollies for something special. Thanks!

I am a proud fan of Croz and Joan. Will always be. But I consider Graham Nash to be a mere support role person. Good one at that. No disrespect intended. But he is more like Art Garfunkel in Simon and Garfunkel act. This means, the brains behind the artistic output is someone else's primarily and one person just supports and complements. The album If I Could Only Remember My Name is brilliant.

@@bluerayfrequency7335 There is simply nothing that rock stars past and present can do about the absence of peace. However, I'm respectful of the work you do without even knowing the nature of it, just by assuming it's at a level of actual contact with people or causes directed towards making society a little saner, healthier, better. @vintagekart2 well, he may not have liked them, but he did some pretty cool work in them. On a carousel, pay you back with interest, there was likely an identity crisis, as they had another lead singer, but I always thought they were a great band. Bus stop, Carrie Ann. Stop stop stop. He was credited as the groups leader on the first album, though Alan Clarke had most of the leads... Interesting to hear Graham Nash's vision of what has happened in the United States. He is, of course an insightful and informed about our culture. As an 'influencer' (that term's political reference is recent to me) his voice is, in addition to his excellent music, be acknowledged. As an artist he has an open, creative mind. And hearing him speak is a confirmation of one of my broader generalizations about Reality: It's all basically Music. With the understanding that you don't have to like the music you hear at the moment at hand. Maybe that's a reason to play music every day, at least 'once'. Whatever that means. But we all know at 75 for instance, that it's just a series of moments with certain points serving as significant by the passage of time. And so, optimistically, when Joni said "not yet", in response to her musician friend Graham's question about new musical projects or painting, she meant 'not yet in the sense that November 5th 2024 is one of those significant days in the passage of time. Personally, I totally felt the power of his expressed example of what it means to leave the world a little better, when he said, "Pick up a piece of litter..." This is something that has become one of those things that one does. The idea is that wherever one goes, the idea is to, "leave it as least as good, or better than I found it." In all, thanks for sharing Graham Nash's knowledge as we continue as participants together in the Musical experience of living. I will check out his new music, "Now".
