On some work trucks on the beach, (shore based commercial fishing in Alaska) we had a plastic tub mounted on top of the cab, where we stored a shovel and a tow rope. I’ve often wondered if there’s a good back seat conversion if it’s always going to be a dedicated tourer for one or two people. Stedi is the brand I use, made in Australia (which is a must for me), 5yr warranty, and superb build quality/lighting. I have found over the yrs that the right light bar will give a very clear and even flood view out to a few hundred meters which is all you need. Anything more and the sign reflection is bad. You can punch a light 2km down the road but thats not where you should be looking.........closers is what will get you first

The one mod I think you missed that I would do is throw a diesel tank into the gap where the spare wheel used to live. Personally I would do a stock low pressure Dmax intak fuel pump and hanger with 2x non return valves on the lines between the filter and the Y pipe where the fuel meets up and hook it into the standard fuel filter. So if either tank is damaged by hitting a rock it doesn't end your trip. While still giving you roughly double the range. Another advantage of that system is if you kill a lpfp or get some bad diesel in your main tank. You can still run after a quick filter swap
