Thanks Guy for the great extended interview. I worked in the restaurant business for many years but needed a Health Plan. At 25 I moved on, but do appreciate the camaraderie that it offered and took that with me moving forward. Clearly your parents kept your head on straight...good for them, and it is nice to see you are teaching your kids the same. 👏👏👏

Thank you, Guy for being such a caring and special role model. You are an amaxing person. 👍👍👍

I am almost at the very end of this interview and has captured my attention right from the get-go. I love how guy proposed to Lorie. Almost at the end of the interview and guy talked about how he raised so much money for restaurant workers relief funds. he got a one or $2 million donation from Pepsi company and raise a total of 26 million for the restaurant workers. He remembered his humble beginnings as a dishwasher and a Mexican restaurant. Guy Fieri is his own brand and I’m sure he is a multimillionaire, but even with his own millions, he remember the restaurant workers. He supported all the restaurant workers at the mom and Pop shops and gave five $500. Just some restaurant workers to tie them over during the pandemic.

Ive watched Guy Fieri on tv for years, absolutely love Triple D. Now i dont know his chef background, he strikes me as someone who was never a fan of the Michelin star stuff, definitely knows his food, is a great chef. I always got the feeling the other "chef's" looked down on him. That said he loves the restaurant industry, he is so passionate about good food and great cooking. His working during Covid helping restaurants by doing Triple D from home getting his kids to help film come on...AMAZING. He just comes across as a great guy, so nice, loves his family, isnt after the professional industry stuff like a michelin star but is way happier getting a Hollywood star and having a msssive party with fans. Give me live music, a bar, frirnds and family, live music over some snooty meal any day.

It’s so fascinating because I’ve seen what supportive parents can do for a child. I had the most terrible zero support parents a person can have. I’ve seen first hand how that affects a person. On the other hand I couldn’t have been more supportive to my kids. And they simply couldn’t care less … But when you get supportive parents with a kid like him who has ambitions well you get what he has for a life.

I love guy shows like diners, drive-ins, and dives. I think it's the best but honestly, I wasn't really a fan of him just I've seen him in a few things where I thought he was standoffish and not really great person but this open my eyes to him. I'm much bigger fan now, I love it. I love the sounds of his father and his relationship where his dad would be pointing out things saying what does that do how does that work? Absolutely love it not only that I just feel like I've got a new perspective on his personality and he may come off a little different standoffish whatever Can tell he's a good man. He's there for his family and close friends/partners in business not employees. I love that attitude too.

The best burger I ever had was at Guys restaurant in the Villages in Florida. We was visiting and I ask where to get the best Burger. A lady said Guys place. I didn’t know it was Guy Fieri restaurant. It had melted Blue Cheese, Pickles, Onions, on a toasted bun, with a Sweet Thai Chili Sauce to pour over it on the side. OMG!! I have ordered that same Burger a hundred times at different restaurants, but it’s never the same. We live in Indiana and I will Fly to Florida just to eat that Burger from Guy’s in the Village’s. Not sure why it taste so different, but no place has been able to duplicate it. I never dreamed Sweet Thai Chili would work on a Burger. I think it offsets the Blue Cheese. If you order a Blue Cheese bacon burger, order Sweet Thai Chili sauce to pour on it. It will Change your life on a hamburger. No other cheese, just Blue Cheese.

I'm really sorry man, I'm a total moron for not looking before I made my comment. This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. I'd heard a lot of negative things about Guy over the years. This interview proves that he is 100% down to earth and a very good human being. Thank you and Guy for bringing this to us. His house and the car collection are beyond amazing. I'm always very happy to see anyone have great financial success. It makes me even more happy when they turn out to be quiet giants like Guy. Cheers, and again my bad for not doing the work before making a snide comment. You're really good at this stuff. You allow your guest to speak their entire thought without interrupting, That's a rarity these days.
