In this demonstration of the time lapse and stop motion animation features of the FZ80/82 I show the necessary steps to create the two videos. I'm no expert in either of these fields so the video is just the sequence of how to use the features - you will probably be more capable of designing puppets etc for your own animations

I am quite excited about using these features, particularly the time lapse when I go on holiday next week. Thanks for all these videos.

Hi Graham... I have enjoyed your series of videos for the Lumix FZ80/82 They are well presented and very informative, I am enjoying my new camera and it's always better to watch a video than try to read the very basic instruction book. Thank you so much. Regards Steve

This is a welcome series - thanks so much for posting. I watched your videos when I bought a FZ-150 way back when. Now I have this camera and your tutorials help so much.

your videos are greatly appreciated Graham. The fz82 is the first camera I've ever bought. I recently went on quite a big travel through the Caucuses countries and took the camera with me to vlog. I wish I had seen your videos before I went because I bought it just before my departure and sort of used it to point and shoot. I did a good job I think, feel free to see my channel for my travel videos -- the more recent ones are better because I was getting used to using it and getting much better results. With that being said I am using your videos during quarantine to learn every feature of the camera to ensure that my next vlogs are of much higher quality!

Great video! Is it possible to set the time lapse variables from the Panasonic phone app?

Graham, if you prefer to create the video at a later time rather than when the time lapse is created, where do you find the process in the menu? I'm struggling to find it! Thank you....Dan 👍

Hey Graham. I notice you are using mechanical shutter (the shutter noise makes me think this) but you don't have all the annoying beeps the camera tends to make. I find that using silent mode it automatically uses electronic shutter. Is there a way to use mechanical shutter in silent mode? Many thanks. D

Quick question, after watching this video I did a time lapse video in my garden! I managed to watch it on the camera but then wanted to see the quality on the computer! But alas I cannot find it on my memory card! Although the camera creates the video does it actually save it as a video clip? If so....where?! Hope you have the answer to this!

hi, so if my understanding is correct than in timelapse you set how often the picture is taken, like 1 every 10s .. but you cant set the time of exposion, correct? or do you mean that I want to use 30s per picture (night) than I should choose 1 picture every 30s? thx i also find a difficult the number of picture. usually you simply start the process and end it, not counting the pictures .. as you can never predict the future, there might be something spectacular but as you are limited by the preset number of pictures you can miss it .. right?
