The average stock in my portfolio has been cut in half, and the only way to make money this year has been to either short or to trade long in very short time frames''. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my dipping $117k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this market?

I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I couldn’t believe I wasn’t already subscribed. Your in-depth videos on anything from credit cards to real estate benefits are consistently entertaining. You have the balls to be transparent about your wealth management while your peers seem to be more shy about how they spend their wealth and the other ones that show it, come off as douchebags. You are an inspiration and I hope that by the end of my 20s, I too can be smarter with my investments

@jwolfie785 жыл бұрын
LuK yeah you just wait until the 2020 or 2021 recession and when everything collapses, buy index funds and commodities that are really cheap, and when it regains value youll have made profit. But shorting everything now means you have to sell at the peak of the recession. (Buying gold is a short because it does the opposite of the stock market.) Gold will have a short decrease during the recession, but it will blow up a lot a little while later.
@luk3035 жыл бұрын

@89feighery5 жыл бұрын
Not watched yet but does he not explain his debt? If he has $5mm in debt then he could go broke with a 20% downturn. Video kind of irrelevant without a discussion on debt. Anybody could have made a fortune that started investing in property in 2009 and continuing till now. And loads of idiots did the same investing for a decade pre 2008 but many ended up bankrupt. Key is being able to make the money in the goodtimes but also being protected to a degree when the crash comes.
