Love this video. Your ability to discern from the Holy Trinity their differences and your self awareness and relationship to the nature of AP within said Holy Trinity is precisely the nature of the journey one should go on before acquiring a watch from any of these storied maisons. The history, elegance and "third horseman" nature of Vacheron is what draws me to that house. I've got some years of savings and time to continue to dwell on myself and my taste before I could acquire a piece of that stature. And maintain any semblance of financial appropriateness to be sure. Someday I'll walk the alley's of Venice with a Maltese Cross tucked under my coat sleeve and I'll toast you, this video and the good life. Cheers 🥂

Gorgeous watch. I think you should try a Vacheron Overseas dual time or chronograph. It’s got size and oozes class. Not to mention 150m water resistance, a true sports watch. That is all I wear now. Very satisfying. The jump to the holy trinity is indeed inevitable 💯

A big stylistic mistake is to draw too much attention to the second hand. Micro-brands often make that mistake. When you think about it, what is the purpose of the second hand besides letting you know that the watch is working? Diminishing the seconds dial and emphasizing the other subdials makes great sense to me. That ought to be standard.

At 7:53. They remind me of the French style beignets you can buy in Paris or New Orleans. A lot of sugar and sweet. The Greeks make a miniature version of this pastry during wedding season in the summer.

I've had a lot of beignets. They're not the same. It's a different experience.

Love this. I think you have made the same video in the past with the Tudor Chronograph where you went for the same food. That was my favorite. I love the way you enjoyed the pastry. It makes me wanna get something to eat. AP seems regressing. The previous models 26331st, 15400, 15450 etc were all better looking than the current models. But that is just my personal taste. After collecting watches for 30 years and never AR RO nor any genta design for that matter. Last month in Frankfurt I decided to give it a try. Some guy with a notebook intercepted me at the door and said without an appointment I could not get in while the boutique was clearly empty. I said go to hell and crossed the street to Lange and there I was welcomed like a king, they let me try on any watch I wanted and served me champagne. Then I went to FP Journe and same great welcome and care event to a potential customer. Beside watches the experience is also very important. When my Blancpain case aged and started to peel I called Blancpain to order a new travelling case they said it would cost my 300 euro. I said ok. When I went to Pick it up and went to pay they said Monsieur it is a gift from Maison Blancpain so it is free for you. In these cases this is what I call service and customer retention. As for AP I will never ever return again.
