I love LF because it validates my viewing of a scene and triages frames. If you go somewhere with a 35mm you shoot a roll and get 5 or 10 good shots, maybe 2 very good shots. With LF, you go with two sheets loaded and you come back with two sheets shot - both are great. It makes you triple-think before shooting, punishes you when you screw up and rewards you when you actually find a good composition. I also started with some Harman direct positive paper - quite a difficult material to work with but man... once you get it, oof.

With all those badass cameras, I was curious if you’ve thought about trying the new Kodak H35n? Im really curious what you could do with such a cheap point and shoot. Also my favorite shot is the “discard” at 6:50. The high contrast and composition look really nice with the added dimensions the graffiti gave it. Fantastic shot.

Fuji HR-U Medical Xray film costs 40 CENTS per sheet for 8x10. Rate at between 100-200 (inconsistent due to it being orthochromatic unlike light meters) and develop in normal B&W chemistry. Very high contrast, pulling may be a good idea too.
