You are the one who let me know, they are edible, in your lovely herb garden. ❤️ Betrayal, is a soul shaking thing, I know. It can turn your world upside down and cause you to question everything and everyone you know. It can also be a catalyst for personal reflection, on yourself and who you are. I know from my own experience, that even the worst betrayal, can be an opportunity to deepen your love and respect for yourself. The good you got from your friend, is not invalid. There is good in all of us and I’m sure the goodness in you, brought out the goodness in him. I hope your heart is healing, dear woman. Whatever you’re doing now, know that you have had such a good influence with this channel and I’m sure you continue to do that with everyone you meet. Love your garden. Please know that even folks you have never met are praying for you and your broken heart over this person from your past. I especially pray that he repents. I have been a victim of this behavior and 2 of my children have as well. Forgiveness is extremely difficult, however it is also freeing. About your recorded videos, I say, don't edit a thing! I am so so sorry for your loss of a good friend and the depression you have had as a result. What a blow! It is devastating to find out about such depravity in a good friend. My best friend of 35 years...her husband was also a great friend. I was at their wedding and we shared a close friendship. A couple of years ago it was discovered he had been molesting one of his young granddaughters at the daycare he ran. What a great way to get victims isn't it? He is in prison yet it is hard to reconcile that man with the man who was my friend. Part of me wants to go to the prison and just stare at him and say, " What the hell Tim? What the HELL?" But I know I won't. He destroyed his entire family. It is doubtful they will ever have real peace. The grandkids don't understand and just miss their "Papa", the adult kids will have nothing to do with him at all, and his, now, ex-wife is trying to put some kind of life back together without her "best friend" of over 30 years whom she still loves and misses like crazy all the while being revolted and sickened and angered by his actions. That crime causes such wide, widespread devastation all around. I am happy to see you again and so grateful you have not been physically ill, even though depression does affect you physically. It is good to see you have climbed out of that black hole. Of course, it will still take time to recover from the effects of his degeneracy and betrayal of everyone in his life including you. My prayers are with you in this difficult time. Love to you and God bless you.

Hi Gramma Rose. I was watching a bunch of your old videos and saw one where you plugged Jess from Roots and Refuge. I had watched one of her videos prior to that about using a storage container as a cheap greenhouse... but that was it and I didn't even know who she was. Well, I am so hooked now. I saw one of her videos recently where she showed everyone the roses in her garden that you gave her. It was so precious! I was so excited that you two had met too!!! Well, we sure do miss you. You mentioned that you have still done videos but just can't bring yourself to edit and post. I am so sorry for the hard time you are going through. We are with you in heart, while you process, enjoy your garden, knit, can... all of the things that you love to do and are still doing. You did say you would be back. Do you know why? You're a botanist and you have SO much to teach us and you have so much to share and you LOVE US!! Grandma Rose, thanks for sharing. Isn't it wonderful to reflect on the Holy Scriptures and see that all of us have sinned and come short of what pleases God (Romans 3:23) and that if we confess our sin God is faithful and just to cleanse us from all sin (1John 1:9). What wonderful hope we have that Jesus is The Way-Maker for all who confess their sin to Him. Isn't that what we learned in Sunday school? Isn't that the hope we can hold on to? How wonderful forgiveness is. We are forgiven and with God's help, we can forgive others. We love people and hate sin. God is Love. He will help us all go forward if we live His way.
