I absolutely love this. I started making my own mixes 2-3 yrs. ago. It's so much fun to do and tastes so much better. You just gave me the ideas of grinding my own pepper & salt! Never too old to try new ideas!! Hope you're healed from your mishap the other day!!

Thank you for sharing with us. I have a question: How much of the taco seasoning do you use for a pound of meat?

A little less than you'd find in a package of commercial taco seasoning. I think the commercial brands have a little flour added because at the end it calls for water that ends up making a kind of gravy.
