Dear Abd Rahim, Many thanks for dropping by. I guess you are located in Malaysia too? No problem if you do. You see, this giant of a species is usually found growing on large branches on very tall trees and usually they overhangs above a stream or river. My many years of observation is that they grows new plant shoots after the flowering season. (also depending on where your Gramms come from) and flowers usually on the dryer months. We must know and record its rhythm precisely. To be continued.

Thanks a lot Donald for your kind tips. Yes, i am in KL. I got the plants from my relative in Gua Musang. They are growing quite well. I believe i also make a mistake of putting them in an area where morning and afternoon sun shines on them continuously. Will get the Guano fertilizer when i am back to Kelantan. Again thanks for sharing the info, really appreciated. Regards

abd rahim ismail thanks for dropping by and glad your Grammy bloomed. Guano have always worked because it is a nature's gift for plants. Have wondered why the leaves of wild orchids are always covered with bird droppings too. Haha. Cheers

continued.....Start adding gradually (only) organic fertilisers such as bat guano the moment new shoots of plants appear. This would be until 3 months and wait for the dryer months where, if you are lucky, flower spikes may appear. It worked for me. All 4 matured plants produced 16 spikes each and each have 39 buds! (4x16=64x39=2496 flowers! Regards
