6:46 I feel like Dee's response to Herbs question might actually go over a lot of heads. But this is so imperative to the success of young artists especially. Help others. Provide value. Give, give, give instead of asking. People will show love back. This is how you win. For real 😌

Good ol Patchwerk Family!! So proud of this man. Dee has always been the same helpful, focused and fun guy since day one. First engineer to let me sit in on a major label session (fly on the wall) lol. Big ups bro 💪

I understand 100% when Dee was talking about how weird it is to be breaking the artist trust vibe or posting a session and to be on social media. I share the same work ethics him, while not many people do now a days .

My question is, Why are the vocals so quiet in go loko
@djdminus5 жыл бұрын
I try to have more of a balance with vocals and beat. Let the vocals sit in the mix. The current way of music the vocal generally sit on top of everything, but with this track it felt better with them lower than normal.

@@djdminus Hey Dee! that makes so much sense, it wasn't always such a vocal forward trend in hip hop. In saying that I actually have listened to the song on google play music, and the vocals are clearer than youtube. I wonder if youtube compression isn't doing the track justice in that frequency band. what do you think? can you hear the difference?
@djdminus5 жыл бұрын
@@ALEXTESKI Yes the compression from each streaming service is different.
