Hey paul is it possible to attach a 5b to a hmv 101 the reason why I'm asking is I'm thinking of getting one some day because my 101 has no soundbox

James from memory I think the arm is a different size. I will double check for you. Personally I would go for another no4 they are one of my favourite boxes. They sound fantastic on the 101. Great combination.

I'm just thinking Paul I know the no4 is very good apart from the potmetal and must use specific gaskets I know there were all brass but they cost ££££££££££££££££$

i looked at the website before i'd look for a later soundbox for my 101 but the phonola will have to do
