Grampa's Jeep on John's Trail during Winter 4x4 Jamboree 2021

My 1948 Willys CJ2A, Grampa’s Jeep follow our trail leader, Kevin Boren and his daughter and Katelynn on John’s Trail in Sand Hollow, Utah during the 2021 Winter 4x4 Jamboree.
At one point I get a little to aggressive and Kay Grampa’s Jeep on its side. No worries, we just got a few guys and pushed it back on its wheels and continued on.

Sam Fuller you must have the strongest arms of your entire party! My arms would have cried uncle long ago!! Amazing where your little jeep goes. My neighbor boy is rebuilding a vintage jeep from the ground up. He is 14 years old and already a gear head. Amazing the talent he has.

Dont know why, but no matter how much beat up it is, If someone asks me to choose one of the cars from here, I will always go for this Grampa's jeep. I love it! Other cars have lots of costly upgrades in them, but this jeep is so simple, so capable!

impressive. I had a 42 flat fender that hadn't been run in 40 years. I drained the water out of the gear box, cleaned the carb and it fired right up.

You might need to rebuild that steering box. Downhill is always a booger, when you can't see what's below you! Woo! If you're apt to rolling it on it's side, you may want a Quick-Disconnect Ignition Kill Key (remove the key, kills the motor)... beats reaching the the actual key. Yep, Jeff is a better "Cameraman" :) @19:10... methinks a few "F-Bombs" were Dropped! WOW!

We had about 12 psi on John’s Trail. I usually run a little lower on the trail but the staging area for the Winter 4x4 Jamboree was at the fairgrounds and required some highway driving. I didn’t want to bother airing up and down.
